Mark B. Morrow
The new Mondeo is one really sharp car. It should come here in some form. Build it here or import it. This could give Mercury a chance to fight the mid range imports.
BlackHorse
Very nice car. The snow flake rims on the sedan, all the rage right now in Europe.
g48150
Everyday it gets closer to looking like a Mazda design infusion is coming.
Nick986
:shades: Nice lookin' car! That interior looks excellent, even from the pictures.
atomcat68
I've liked the car ever since I saw it in "Casino Royale". It looks stunning. I think if it were sold here, the auto mags would complain about the interior. It doesn't look that expensive.
630land
I has a Mazda 6 look to it, IMHO
RichardJensen
Not a big fan of the rear end. Interior is okay. I don't like the 'skin' treatment, and while the radio unit's design is cool, the buttons are too small. HVAC controls look first rate, though. IMSA-XJR9
Love the 'Estate'. Nice looking car.
ehaase
The car would cost too much to sell here as a Mercury. Just make the next generation Fusion built in Mexico identical to the next generation Mondeo, but with lower labor costs.
Blueblood
Maybe a real bold move would have been to make this the 08 Taurus?
RichardJensen
Maybe a real bold move would have been to make this the 08 Taurus? You may say that the Five Hundred/Taurus looks like a Passat, well this thing would cost as much as a Passat. And would probably sell in smaller volumes. sranger
It looks good and would probably sell well here. However, I doubt Ford would take a chance like that...

If it looks anything like the pics, comes with the 265 v6, maybe more? and has a stick, i wouldn't mind paying good $$ for it... the fusion on the other hand, I wouldn't even lay down the $18000 a four banger costs, that car simply is not my cup o' tea... Drake
Simply beautifully designed car inside and out.
coupe3w
Why is that a left hand drive car if it's just for Europe?
retro-man
I has a Mazda 6 look to it, IMHO Just yesterday, I found my eyes following a white Mazda 6 wagon (you don't see too many of them) into someone's driveway, and thinking what an attractive and nice sized car it is. I would like to see a Fusion wagon.
Watchdevil
Why is that a left hand drive car if it's just for Europe? Dohhh! Most of Europe is LHD while the UK is RHD. The Mondeo is sold in places all over the world.
