P71_CrownVic
Yeah, but there isn't much you can do about that and have the deep bed at the same time either. You could bring the suspension down a bit...eh?
suv_guy_19
You could bring the suspension down a bit...eh? Sure...and then lets see how it sits when you put a heavy trailer behind it. The current model simply goes flat rather than sagging in the ass like most trucks.
MillRight
Don't give them any more excuses. The "yes crew" already have enough. They deflect blame and have more excuses than my three daughters......combined! Now, get back in your hole and make me a turkey pot pie. "The Breakfast Club"? Loved that one!!! P71_CrownVic
Yes...and now there are droopy assed lopsided Explorers running around all over the place. Hmm...the IRS explorers don't do that...maybe the F-150 should have IRS.
Ford-150
Hmm...the IRS explorers don't do that...maybe the F-150 should have IRS. :happy feet: you get this ASS award again for saying they F-150 1/2 ton PICKUP TRUCK should have an IRS.....its not an element with a V6 and a bed like the Ridgeline and those other comments before about lowering the F-150...............why would you do that if you use a truck

And why would I lower a truck if I use it? Thats exactly why. I want to be able to use it...so I would lower it a couple of inches or so to make it easier to use. Dipshit, you just lost everything right now with that post. Infact, I think Rick should ban your ass for being a lame troll, for God's sake you're not even funny to keep around. NickF1011
Your kidding right? :shades: No way! This is the worst 1/2 ton pickup ever!! Ford is just GIVING away the market. Everyone is going to buy Ridgelines instead of this weak attempt at a truck. J/K Edited November 24, 2007 by NickF1011

Blueblood
Lots of people are buying GM's, everybody that I know that's bought a truck over the past few years has gone to Dodge or GM for very specific reasons, the new truck looks worse, and won't get the needed power until 2010, and that's if the Hurricane isn't delayed even further which is sure to happen since Ford forgot how to build V8's... Edstock
Lots of people are buying GM's, everybody that I know that's bought a truck over the past few years has gone to Dodge or GM You got to get to know different people. The GMC looks boring and the Chevy grill looks brash and cheap. The Dodge has the biggest grill on the planet, a serious expression of short-dick insecurity: it's loud and it's proud. Does the new truck look worse? Maybe, but it's kind of hard to tell, because it's not the final product, and it's a 2-D picture. The looks are less extreme than the Chev or Dodge, it appears. Cheer up. You might get to like it, eventually.
rmc523
Yeah, but there isn't much you can do about that and have the deep bed at the same time either. That's true too, though. Oh well, I guess it's a trade off: have the most capable truck in it's class or have a shorter bed.
NickF1011
At least you got one part right, even if it was said sarcastically. In several areas of the market I would agree. Certainly not with the F-series though.
igor
Hmm...the IRS explorers don't do that...maybe the F-150 should have IRS. Truck with IRS? -- try again ... the truckers would laugh and walk over to GM. Igor

So is that why GM has ever increasing inventory of full sized trucks including Silverado and Sierra and recently ended shift at its Pontiac truck plant? fla.boy
rember this? Ford promised Friday that the new redesign of the F-150 pickup, still the nation's best-selling vehicle model, will be unlike anything else seen in the market when it hits showrooms in late 2008 that was from an article in 2006! RichardJensen
Dude! Expedition market share has fallen since they added IRS (all the way back in 2002). Adding IRS didn't help because the engineers tuned the ride "Euro" firm. Wanted to make a Bimmer out of it or something.
igor
Yeah...it sure has hurt the Expedition... SUV <> Truck .. get that through your skull .. an IRS full size truck will NEVER sell .. NEVER* ... and you can take that to the bank. *let's refine that to next 20 years at least. Igor
93R-Code
It looks good. I hope there will be a Lightning version in it's future.
Edstock
Like your 91/93 Mustangs. I saw one this past summer, where the door window frames had been removed, and convertible window-glass used, I guess. Anyway, the car had rubber weather-strip fabricated so that the glass was flush-fit like an Audi. Looked really fine.
