rmc523
I've had 5 fords totalhere is my first one.. '99 ranger having a little fun offroad. great truck until the vulcan threw a rod after that I got the '00 f150.. not quite as fun offroad. just too big for that stuff, but a reliable truck it was. Then the '06 mazda3 for gas mileage, loved the back roads in this car. still needed to get my wheelin' in, so I picked up a '78 bronco.. Then I realized I was either going to kill myself or get a really big ticket having so much fun on those back roads in the mazda and that I needed something to tow the wheeling rig to the trails, so I traded it in for an '03 superduty. more than you asked for, but I like to show my vehicles, lol :shades: ps any way to make the images full size? Good pic of the Mazda I'm not sure if there's a way to make them full size, unless they're already online at some other website (then you "insert image", which will make it full size) I've been wondering the same thing BTW. FordBuyer
Great looking Ford vehicles guys. I for one liked the 2004 Explorer the best and the 1998 Expedtion the second best. The Explorer with the alloy wheels is real nice.
lfeg
Too many to list. Among the first was a 64 Galaxie 500 XL 2 door hardtop. Pagoda green with a custom white leather and black carpet, console, and IP interior. (not my idea, but a coach shop had the car first). Worst thing about the car was that the fuel gauge went down as fast as the speedometer went up when you really opened it up (and rear tires did not last very long either). There was also a 63 Galaxie 500 XL convertible in the fleet at about the same time.
Roadrunner
My first Ford under my own ownership is my Fusion, which by the way I nearly wrecked yesterday --- goin' 55 on a series of twisties that have 30 mph posted speed limits. Heh! Still got it. Edited December 18, 2007 by Roadrunner

sonofford
Heres mine: 1986 Escort GT, used to be my old mans car, was my first car. First shot is it on the production line at EAP (was following it at night by VIN), Next one is out in the holding lot and the last one is in front of the house I grew up in. The car was still on the road in 1998, when I ran into it at an Autoparts store I was working at. Had well over 200K on it and had two major accidents on the front right sub frame (Dad got cut off and spun out (Escorts had really bad emergancy handling back then and I was a moron when I had mine..) and was still running good! I can't find a pic (I know I have one), but my first Ford was a 1996 Contour. 4 cylinder, 5 speed, red over grey. It was a fun car to drive, but it was also the last Ford-branded car I owned (though I now drive a Volvo). I hope in the near future Ford makes a domestic car or wagon (not SUV) that suits me. White99GT
Quite easily, actually. :shades: The hood wasn't a cosmetic add on, the hood came out of necessity. Edited December 18, 2007 by White99GT

RichardJensen
Don't get me started on all the other cars/motorcycles I've owned. Yeah, and folks, he's 22 years old. We've been contacted by his wife and psychiatrist, asking us to please stop letting him post here, because it only feeds his addiction. My attitude is that if some of the people here don't turn him off Fords and cars in general, no one will. :P

Dixiephobe Hey, I was including the Copperhead region of New York state too.... More like hill-o-phobe. BTW, is it still okay for me to like banjo and mandolin music, even if I'm against the Jerry-Lee-Lewis marrying his 13 year old cousin type of thing? BTW, BTW, last Tuesday was the 50th anniversary of that event, which one of the local morning personalities read as, "on this date Jerry Lee Lewis secretly married his 13 year old cousin", with the other personality saying, "Gee. Did anyone ever find out?" I loled.

I wouldn't be surprised if my wife contacted a psychiatrist about my addiction to cars. P.S. I've been wondering about that avatar of yours for months now, so I went out and rented the Simpsons movie today ($1 Redbox!). I'm looking forward to seeing it. matthewq4b
P71 has the same paint job on his car. LOL I had a buddy that had a 67 merc that did not look much better. The car was held together by the paint. The York Regianal Police finally pulled it off the road one day and condemmed it , it was so bad . And this was in the early 70's when any thing was allowed on the road. At least that has steel bumper he had a 3 X 12 chunk of oak as a front bumper. Matthew That piece of 'c' channel front bumper practically took the back half of a caprice wagon off at a circle eight trailer race, the car was runnin with a/c blowin ice cold during the race until it hit parts of a camper on the track and put a hole in the oil pan. And it still ran for about 10 min with no oil.
RichardJensen
until it hit parts of a camper on the track and put a hole in the oil pan Well, now, that's exactly why they put dry sump systems on most race cars.

gbb
First car...... 1962 Galaxie 500 2 dr hard top. 406 cu in/405 hp, tri power with a T85 BW overdrive. white with a red interior. I bought it when I was 17 in 1968 for $500.00 with money I made one summer from working on a roofing crew. I was very proud of it. Lots of "firsts" in that car. Nice site BTW, I do love my Fords and always have.
