NickF1011
http://www.leftlanenews.com/acura-rl.html Looks more like a 1998 Grand Prix than anything that should be wearing an Acura badge. WTF is wrong with Acura these days?

Ford??-LOL!
Hideous grill!! Looks like a big Accord! Why anyone would buy this instead of a 375HP V8 Hyundai Genesis beats me.

Why anyone would buy this instead of a 375HP V8 Hyundai Genesis beats me. irrespective of styling i would venture to say it will be superior in every aspect to the new contender Hyundai...whom seem to be making HUGE strides lately.... Sixt9coug
Its unremarkable in the front. Saturn grille meets the 98 Acura lineup. The back is just hideous. The way all of the body lines meet up around the tail lamps just looks way overly busy. The way the bumper cover intrudes into the lamp actually kinda bothers me. Its just not right. smok
I don't like it at all. Even the interior is just ok. I does seem like you are getting a 90's car design

Critic
question...where does the front plate get DRILLED in.....Probably right in the middle, I hate those....Almost every manufacturer ship's a molded mounting bracket that extends out and the front bumper still gets drill, Mounting assy. installed and plate bolted to it. Blueblood
Horrible, that grill looks like a cow catcher.. How do they think they can compete with a FWD V6 lux car???
range
B-O-R-I-N-G !!!! Something only the Honda fanboys would love. This warmed-over RL does not address any of the serious problems the current RL has. Same Acura shit, different day. And look at the next generation TSX. Does that profile view remind you of anything? Including the wheels? Looks like Honda/Acura continues to run on empty when it comes delivering anything new or refreshing. WTF is wrong with Acura these days? As I've said many times, I don't know who is in charge of Honda/Acura styling lately, but they should be fired. I like the current RL's looks. This thing is hideous.
rmc523
dunno...way too many contour lines and the rear end got BANGLE-ized I noticed that too. Ewww.... I highly agree. Hideous grill!! Michael Reynolds
Talk about a brand without direction. Not sure what they were thinking, they went from invisible to ugly........color this the Pontiac Aztek of cars. Tack that on to the out of whack pricing scheme (loaded versions go for about 54K) and a relatively weak engine, and what do you get? FAILURE!!! kevinb120
Its not a new car, its just a re-skin, and a fucking terrible one at that. That thing's a horror show, I can't see it winning any 5-series/GS/M/E-class/CTS sales in the near future....The interior is pretty much a direct carryover. ANTAUS
How sad, even Hyundai can build a V8 for the Genesis and at $46K-53K, Acura is expecting people to accept a 300Hp V6.

Heh, I worked at Acura in 05 when they had to down-rate all the engines to 276hp.
