timmm55
I thought about the 63 Mustang show car (again) and started with a Lotus Elise this time (changed everything except for the windshield). The idea is essentially the same: small amidship targa. Maybe with a Ecoboost 2.4 V4........
Mark B. Morrow
That is absolutely stunning. Nice work Timmm.
V8 Ford
Very nice work, the profile is dead on for a modern Mustang I.
timmm55
I actually did this one first, but redid some things. While I don't see a whole range of Mustangs as someone else here has proposed, I could see a companion.
ibinubu12
The second one would be more of a Mustang, the first could pass for a Probe replacement (which can't come fast enough!). Great work!

kach22i
Nice work Timmm55, would not call it Mustang though. Still way nicer than the cover of the car magazine stuff I've seen for a freshened Mustang. They could not use GT-40 as a name, how about GT-20? Most people would not know the 40 inches in height thing. Maybe they could say GT20 means the height of the belt line or something like that. I know...it was more of an 'enthusiast' joke....but that could work (20" belt line or other important feature).

Doesn't look a thing like it, although I've always liked them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:X19.jpg
