fuzzymoomoo
Oh I'm not surprised at all, it's just coming at a horrible time so I'm a little more worried about what might happen. The "they" I was referring to was the union, not the company. I've never worked for a company who actually cares about what happens to their employees other than whether or not they do their jobs or not. focusfrank
Unless something has changed they (the company) until tomorrow (April 23) Thursday to let the local know what their plans are..
deflep1
You don't build any AWD Fusions? I thought you did. So retooling for Continental this soon? It must be launching sooner than everyone thinks. No AWD or Titaniums are built in Flat Rock. Some retooling for the Continental will be done in our 4 week shutdown, starting in mid June. More will be done late this year. You remember the contract that was bringing the Fusion back to the states. Hermosillo hasn`t had any....? CAP....? KTP...? 10yrs_No_Seniority
It won't allow me to attach the pic. It's a letter saying the union has been unable to get the company to sit down and talk the details or steps that need to be taken. The # of ppl to be effected is 673. The union wants to reduce that number, the company hasn't responded.

Management talks and the management over at Dearborn knew of the poor attendance problem of some of the tier 2 at MAP. You can't blame them for not wanting some of MAP's tier 2's problem children and their attendance problems at Dearborn.
