However if you wanted to make an argument that it sounds like a "typewriter" you very well could...to my ear its the fuel injectors responsible for the noise. My '16 GT had the tick basically from the first oil change until I sold it this past summer. That said, I have a F-150 5.0 on order and fully expect it to tick too.
