2026 Hyundai Palisade

Hmmm, not sure what their design inspiration was for this. The front looks chinese, the side looks like a 2000’s era GMC suv with its square wheel arches, and the interior looks like a 1970’s truck. I think the overall shape is good, but I’ve said this a 1000 times, Hyundai/kia always seem to put one or two styling elements in their vehicles that keep them from having broad appeal.

Same with Toyota. They always do something that takes an otherwise good design and ruins it.

At least they still are using a full slate of manual controls!

I'd remove the silver strip above the windows. The roof rack carries the theme of silver from the back pillar just fine.

It was my understanding that Hyundai had the design studio in California, and after that came online their styling improved.  Their recent trends make me think HQ in South Korea has taken back the control.
