Since the statements were addressed to shareholders, I’m betting some wild rumours have been concerning them and this is just Ford calming those concerns. Sometimes they have to repeat the obvious….. There was a former member of this site that banned himself wanting Ford to spin off Ford Blue from Ford Motor Company ASAP. If they’d had done that Ford would have been bankrupt.
