It almost felt like Ford was getting committed with CD6 but that stalled really hard after the Explorer/Aviator launch and also the slow death of the sedan.
I haven't posted on this forum a ton, I joined in 2008 though. Some of these names you guys mention I remember too though like Premierdrum and P71. I posted more on FoMoCoNews which became FordInsideNews which died a very slow and painful death. No idea if Wingsnut ever came here from that site but me and him used to get into it a lot, he was Mr Ford can do no wrong and everything they do is 100% correct every single time. He also hated the Lincoln LS which I drove at that time and loved taking digs at it saying he was glad it was dead and the MKZ replaced it. But yet the Retro Thunderbird was a 'very fine car' which was based on the Lincoln LS....
Of course I post/posted on a lot of other forums too and recognize a lot of folks here from those sites as well like the LLSOC and GMInsidenews
Hi everyone, new guy here. Happy to be a new member. I have come across my first issue. I recently found out that the newer super dutys are supposed to have zerk fittings on the half shafts, 2020 an newer, I believe. I checked my truck and found NONE. the truck only has 3400 miles on it so everything underneath is still fairly clean and should be easy to spot the shinny fittings, but it does not have any. Is this correct, or did I just not see them? 4x4 Lariat Crew Cab diesel with HD front suspension.
Minus the wheels and the weird area below the headlights, I really like this refresh. I never cared for the current grille so I’m glad to see a change there. I think a honeycomb style would have been better, but I don’t mind the waterfall. There is too much black plastic on the current version, especially on the upper trims (XL it would be ok on), so seeing body color is nice. I don’t get the wheels at all, they don’t seem to fit with the vehicle. With the interior enhancements we have seen in spy pics, I think this 2025 maverick is going to be a big winner. Most of my complaints I have had seem to have been fixed.
