There is no option for Ford but to have their supplier import aluminum sheet until the US plant is back online. Not doing so means that Ford looses too much profit, they cannot go six months without F Series production. -

It’s probably going to hit Bronco (Doors, Hood, Swing gate, Fenders) and Ranger (Hood) at some point too I would imagine. -
Ford may have to swallow hard and just buy in some aluminium sheet from other suppliers and pay the tariff

And this is the interesting part, corporations like Ford are betting that more of its buyers will stay and pay higher prices. For the most part, that seems to work, especially with the highly profitable F Series.
