The sporty coupe market is virtually dead...the Prelude isn't going to revive it. I'm surprised Honda even bothered.    Regarding the Insight, Honda is now doing what it should have done in the first place - make the Civic Hybrid as good as possible, and really push it. That approach must be working, as our Honda dealers can't keep Civic Hybrids on the lot. 

That Bezos-backed Slate EV pickup is only $24,000! Of course it has no radio and manual windows! Bezos could throw billions into it if he wanted. He could break Ford. Sad, huh?

I remember back in the mid-eighties when shopping for a replacement service van for Dad's TV store, I decided to put my "Pro-Ford" bias aside and look at all 1/2 ton vans...got quotes from the Chevrolet dealer and then went to the GMC dealer (dealer also sold Cadillac, Pontiac and Buick) and the salesman there tried to tell me that GMC vans were better because they use thicker metal in the body panels.....I laughed.    We ended up with an E-150....
