I’ve been driving hybrids since 2014 and love them. I wouldn’t go back to ICE except for my Ranger and hoping Ford comes through in the future for it. I’m very interested in your real world MPGs on the highway. Keep us posted. I wonder if this same hybrid system might find its way into the Mustang CUV? I can hope but I suspect it wouldn’t be sufficient for the performance pedigree expected for the Mustang family.

https://www.instagram.com/reel/DeuN0W9CgFZ/?rpxt=ajliN3FqZzhmYWFv Learn how the First Raptor came to life…so maybe not a new model? Or maybe it will be a Ford Raptor off road super car? -
Can anyone verify that the '27 order bank did indeed open? And any sign of an order guide being available?

I would think that with the different power and torque of the 2.0 Ecoboost the software would need to be modified, but I have no idea how it works. If it is plug and play, then that would make it easy for Ford to match up any compatible ICE to the HF55.

So listening to the same songs on SiriusXM vs Apple Music on the same setup-the SiriusXM was flatter and it was missing lows that where needed to drive the sub. I also know that sound system quality is subjective too Maybe a bit easier to explain it this way-SiriusXM plays at 32 kbps to 64 kbps for streaming off the internet. Apple Music is 256 kbps standard and 1500-2048kbps for lossless. So your getting 4x the data on Apple Music at the low end and it just goes up from there. -
I've found just the opposite - the higher end system compensates better for the compression loss for normal volume listening. I also found it varies from channel to channel. Some of it is also just the quality of the master especially on 80s and earlier stuff. But it doesn't matter for how we normally listen. Wife won't let me crank it past 8 or 9. 😂

Yes and I assume it does require the connectivity package but I plan to keep that anyway. You turn it on and off and select from 3 different scents. It slowly wafts out of the hvac vents. Not really. Weather, trip info, instant mpg/mode and media song are the most useful. I'm sure if I thought about it I could come up with something I'd like to see but it's already more info than normal and I wouldn't want so ething distracting like youtube. They are very easy and intuitive. I'll make or find a video.

Yeah I can see them being used as extra power say for a drag run. I was watching a video done by a guy who is an actual rocket scientist and he was talking about the cold rockets-the one "huge" issue with them is they are going to eat the battery alive to refill rockets, since the air needs to be compressed then cooled before use. The rocket use time is very limited also-only 3 seconds -
Yea, good to hear. My wife and I had a great experience with BlueCruise on our '25 MME for a road trip recently that included Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland. Mostly Interstates 68, 70, 76, 81, 270, and 495. Overall, about 70% hands-free. The driver monitoring seems to be less finicky with the most recent software updates compared to what we experienced when we took delivery of the vehicle in 2025. We'd like Ford to add capabilities similar to Tesla's FSD that work on roads that are not pre-mapped hands-free Blue Zone routes and in parking lots.
