It's a 2026 Reserve II, it will be a year old in about 3 weeks. And I agree with you. -
they previously indicated this would be the case. I’m really skeptical that anything changed at all since the only person who said it was going to be revealed in January was BORG himself. Early 2027 reveal+preorders followed by late 2027 deliveries has been what I understood from what Ford has been saying publicly for a while now

BTW these losses from new platform/vehicle development is no different than before. E.g. Ford invested heavily with no revenue for years on cd6 explorer and aviator. You just never saw it because it was hidden in the bigger numbers.

We knew that E transit, Lightning and Mach-E were built on cobbled together platforms that were too expensive to turn a profit. But they were great learning tools and satisfied a lot of buyers. The 3 row EVs were cancelled so of course that's a huge loss. And CE1 has been in development with no revenue for 3+ years. You seem to be the only one surprised they aren't making money.

If launch is still one for late 2027, does that still mean the reveal is happening Q1 in Detroit? I know Borg heard the revealed was delayed, but the last I heard directly from Ford channels was that it was still on for a early 2027 reveal. Looked it up, Ford is saying pre-orders will open in early 2027. I feel like that had to coincide with the reveal itself. -

The T3 and Bullet Train EV are being written down but I'm sure some of that equipment is going to be repurposed. The CE1 program is still spending money without generating a profit till it gets into production Q4 of next year.
