These are head scratching decisions when the parts exist in the Ford ecosystem. The Chinese market seems to routinely be getting better products than the American market. That is pretty frustrating.
Man, these guys are all over the place regarding product planning. Like a fart in a skillet. Establish a long term plan and stick with it unless you legitimately have the ability to be flexible, which they do not appear to be doing well. Although I would argue there are two products in China they could sell here without significant modifications to fill some voids.
I definitely was referring to the engine turning itself off at stop lights. I am getting the 7.3 gasser. And, finally, 24 hours is enough. As long as it remembers during gas/lunch/bathroom stops while towing.

Yup I realize that's the hole for the pro power dealio just can't find what they call the hole filler when you don't get that option. I emailed on dealership with no response. I'll try another I guess.

So first, it does remember your mode, but only for about 24 hours or the next day or something. It'll always return back to "normal" drive mode after a day or so.
As for Auto-Start/Stop, the diesel definitely doesn't, and I don't believe the 7.3 gasser does either.
EDIT: Worth noting, that I assumed you were asking about the engine starting and stopping. If you meant auto-hold (where the brakes hold themselves when you are stopped, it does not have that unfortunately.)
Well, if the 2025 650/750 models equipped with 6.7L Powerstroke diesels are not available in CARB states, it does make some sense to reallocate some of that diesel engine production to other trucks. I am really at a loss to understand why Ford started the 650/750 2025 model year so early when by doing so it caused this emission compliance issue.
No word on the availability of air brakes on gasoline powered 650's and 750's.
Hey everybody. I'm replacing the compressor and orifice tube on me Mum's '02 Taurus at 110k miles, so they're all original parts. I've never done this job before so I need advice going in. I believe this car has an orifice tube vs. filter as when I'm on rockauto and drilled down to 2002 Ford Taurus OHV, in the Heat and Air Conditioning sub-menu it only gives an option for orifice tube and not filter, so I guess an orifice tube is what I got.
What little doo dads do I need besides the compressor and orifice tube going into this?...o-ring seals or some kind of general AC component seals replacement kit? Or things other than the seals I'm imagining running into?
Also, any just general advice going about this? Much obliged
Honestly, I agree with both of you because now is not the time to press forward with an all new BEV F150.
I would prefer that the market gets a real good look at Cybertruck and the BEV Silverado in these indifferent
selling times because with so much cynicism, both will be a mixed blessing to live with and please owners.
The beauty of that is Ford has the Lightning and it can concentrate on winning existing buyers with the
promise of a much better truck coming by trade in time in the next few years.
Well a good source told me they lost 50% of their Power Stroke allocation to Super Duty..(250-450?) But 7.3 orders were doing well..I guess if you want a 650/750 in less than a year that is your only option? I posed the question, so if 7,3 is to pick up slack will they finally offer air brakes???
