Very true, and the only reason Ford is still in class 6 and 7.

The fact the Ford makes both the engine AND the transmission instead of having to buy them both from an outside vendor is a serious advantage for Ford. -
I actually like the new front. The body looks like an early 2000’s Lexus or Camry. For all that is going on in the interior, the exterior profile is kinda boring.

I don't think the Freightliner will cost less than the Ford, but I think it will be a lot closer than the Kenworth. Our fleet went Freightliner years ago because after taking upfit costs into consideration, the Freightliner truck was less expensive 'turn key' than the Ford was. That certainly may not be the case with many buyers (van, platform, etc.) but the point is I expect the M2/Octane will be priced close enough to the F-650 gasoline that it may cost Ford some sales.

7m I think your last sentence would be more accurate if you delete..."a lower cost cost". True statement..it IS another gasoline conventional in class 6 and 7. As to "lower cost", I find that hard to believe. -
I don't think the designer understood what they meant by "angled toward the driver".....

Designing the UI for that screen had to be a total PITA! -
I'd agree. It seems like they're trying to jump back in time and sort of imagine where BMW design would've gone without the Bangle era (i.e. pick up where the '97-03 more boxy design left off). The greenhouse seems a bit more upright than the last few models (at least in the latter half of it). I hate this unresolved character line that flows into the middle of the mirror mount/doesn't match up with the belt line: The front and rear are ok. I also agree that the center screen inside is odd with the angled shape. I absolutely DESPISE that hideous 4-spoke steering wheel....like WTF? I get there aren't any gauges to look through, but it's just ugly lol. I also do not like that backlit colored dash panel on the passenger side. It looks like it's broken with how uneven/streaky it is. I guess it's supposed to be "design" but it just looks bad, IMO.....it'd have looked better if they were a pattern or something more uniform. haha, after thinking about it for a second, it actually made me think of that 90's cup design:

If it carries the Mustang name, I think there will have to be at least one variant with a sub 5 second 0-60. -
I could honestly see it mirroring Mustang pricing.... starting in the 30s and stretching on up in to the 60s, 70s, maybe more depending how far they go with any performance variants.
