That's why I think the TTP truck eventually replaces Ranger.  Bronco pickup absorbs most of current ranger sales especially raptor while the new truck picks up sales between maverick and bronco with a much lower internal cost and higher margins.

Yea, if the Ford big shots want to do the multi energy thing with next gen Bronco, the ideal powertrain lineup for next gen Bronco would be: gasoline only engine Powerboost (regular hybrid, non plug-in) Electric with range extender gasoline engine (similar to current Chinese Bronco New Energy EREV) Pure electric (similar to current Chinese Bronco New Energy BEV) The last two should be good competition for Jeep Recon

Agreed. PHEV adds too much weight and cost. Bronco Powerboost makes more sense.

This would have been perfect for a kids first vehicle if it came in around 15k. Enough range to get them to school, their job, or a friends house. With limited funds, they don’t have to pay for gas. Not a lot of distractions in the vehicle. Too bad it’s 10k too expensive.

205 is higher than the originally announced 150 range. It really depends on your service area. If you only service a small area, it would probably be fine. If you service large cities and their surrounding suburbs, you’d be cutting it close.

I agree that that would make more sense.   Ford doesn't seem to see a problem overlapping 87 different trucks, but let's not have anything between Bronco Sport and Explorer lol.

I guess it'll slot in below Passport?     Ford needs to add a hybrid to BS yesterday.

Ranger would likely move to TTP and Bronco pickup gets built right next to Bronco at MAP...not sure how that would make sense to give Ranger competition from your own field but then again I cannot figure out Fords plans as they keep changing them. 

I'd have bought a Bronco Sport in a NY Minute if it was available as a hybrid.
