How DARE they delete Oxford White.....maybe replace it with Wimbledon White??

Good morning! Came in and started up all my systems today, and holy cow, Mustang and Ranger order guides for 2027! No pricing guides yet for either one. A couple highlights from Mustang, no major surprises: EXTERIOR Changed -Rain Sensing Wipers replaced with Intermittent Variable Windshield Wipers Deleted -Integrated turn signals from 201A, 401A, and 700A New Colors -Precision Purple Metallic (CR) -Argon Blue Metallic (E9) on Dark Horse Appearance Package Deleted Colors -Vapor Blue Metallic -Blue Ember Metallic INTERIOR/COMFORT Changed -Floor Mats – 1st Row Carpeted, Black standard on all series -Soft Door Rollover changed to Hard Door Rollover on EcoBoost® Premium 200A Deleted -Emberglo (3J) Interior FUNCTIONAL Changed -Ford app Remote Start is now standard starting on EcoBoost® 100A   Also, Dark Horse SC deleted Oxford White and added Precision Purple Metallic and Incognito Green Metallic (new color and code, nothing that's been used back to 2011, apparently unique to Dark Horse SC).

After reading through the order guide, a few interesting observations.....     Leather is no longer even an option at all on any trim unless you jump up the Filson, where it's standard.. I figured they just went standard vinyl, with optional leather, but no, it's not an option. It's showing that Outer Banks appears to come standard with cloth seating now, as that's what's included with its standard Mid-Package......it also seems the only way to upgrade from those cloth seats is to go to the Lux Package, which includes the "premium vinyl" seating.....and there doesn't appear to be a standalone option for those vinyl seats on OBX...           I did notice that since there's no leather option on Badlands, in order to get carpet flooring, you now have to choose this "Marine Grade Vinyl with dark khaki accent seats" option.  

I think Jag may have a bit better chance of success than the Lucid because of brand familiarity?  But even so, as you point out, EV sales for this type of vehicle aren't lighting the charts on fire....   I think Model S (and X to a lesser extent) tanked because they barely visually updated it....I think if they had had given it a full redesign, it'd have maintained better sales, but who knows....

Yea, in Q2 2026 R1S market share decreased from the same period in 2025. Is R2 Rivian's Model T moment? 😄   Regarding Tesla, the slight dip in overall deliveries in Q3 2026 comes after a significant increase between Q2 2025 and Q2 2026, led by Model Y.       

I’ve been working with camera systems a lot lately because of some changes with the 27 Bronco needing verification. Those MIAVs are pretty neat, my journeyman and I installed a couple of them a few weeks ago. They’re literally iPhones with special software that communicates directly with the in-plant QLS system to report its images as either good or bad. There’s a little nuance to it but I thought  they’re easier to use than some of the other cameras we have. 

That's Fords jam!! Like the camber settings on a Twin-I-Beam front suspension, the only constant is change. 

Based on what I heard from fordvideoguy on YouTube, the 15th is for the Mustang and the 22nd for the MME. subject to change as always.
