My old '94 F150. Major winter weather up here in Northern Michigan the past few weeks, so my truck (2WD) has sat. On Saturday, I figured I'd better start it and dig it out. The 100% mechanical door handle worked beautifully, even though it wad encrusted in snow and ice. Maybe Tesla should take note.
Yes, yes it was. The truck I saw was a 90s cab with an 80s bed, not the 90s version. This is the bed, notice the taillights and badass Ford stamp:

Now imagine the black bed attached to the front of the red truck (painted to match of course) It was unusual but very cool
Damn I hope no one is stupid enough to pay for it...
I get it if its something brand new and you want a show piece for a couple weeks till inventory builds up, but still...
Well I wouldn't say the definition is just price. And now you are comparing apples to oranges or trucks to cars. Perhaps "luxury" isn't the right term. But for the traditional "luxury" auto makers it doesn't really matter if this new "tech" car is stealing their "luxury" sales. It appears that people who have $50k+ to spend on cars are considering "tech" more important then traditional "luxury". That should be telling to manufacturers who want to compete in that "market".
What about a couple of these?
