  2. The job is a vanity truck, which requires lots of power and huge size to compensate for driver's small penis. It does what it was designed to do.

  3. I took delivery on my F450 Limited on 2/22/22....guess I'll never forget that date!! The tracking site never changed after the Built date was shown and I never received an email after Ford let me know my final Scheduled for Production week. I received the following emails from Ford thru the process. 6/26/21 - Order Confirmed 11/16/21 - Scheduled for Production - week of 1/19 1/19/22 - Scheduled for Production changed to week of 1/31 Other highlights of my process: Was asked to sign a buyers agreement on 7/29. I think this had to do something with the COVP process. Was told by the sales manager on 9/16 that best case would be a delivery by the end of the year. My Estimated Delivery date did change one time from 2/21 to 2/19 on the tracking site. My salesman called me to let me know it had been delivered to them on the day I picked it up. Also, the MSRP price on the sticker included the price increase from the time I ordered in June. The dealership removed those increases from my final purchase price, which was an X-plan price. It was a long process, but worth it in the end. The truck is awesome. It's just a crazy world we live in right now. Hopefully everyone will get their truck soon.

  4. Ford may not communicate a lot but I will take their word over some random dealer's social media posting. If i have learned anything on here it is that dealers get a lot of things wrong.

  5. I felt like a kid on Christmas morning... LOL! Woke up to the window sticker showing up and in production status! F350 4WD, SRW, 7.3L, 3.73, ultimate lariat, 5th wheel prep, no bed liner, agate black / stone gray. just hoping it doesn't get pushed back. Live 4 hrs from Louisville, it will probably take 4-6 weeks to get... here is the timeline. ordered 11/12/21 confirmation email 11/12/21 on 1/13/22 received scheduled for production email - scheduled for week of 2/28/22 2/24/22 rec window sticker and in production status.

  7. As I wait for my 2022 to eventually get built, I think about creature features these trucks should have. Top of my list is a heads up display. I have it on one of our cars now and will miss it when I get the truck. Any scuttlebutt about HUD being added? - heck if there’s a chance it would be available on the 2023s I could be convinced to wait…

  8. Probably means nothing. I was hoping, of course, it meant an update and earlier production time for me lol.

  9. Those pics look good. Seems the springs help some. One less item for the shopping list I believe.

  10. Scheduling is done 3-6 weeks before actual builds. They don’t keep 6 weeks worth of parts at the factory. They expect parts shipments to arrive per schedule and if they don’t then things have to be shifted around.

  11. They could be waiting on other trucks to be built that are in your route or area... Just a guess though on my behalf.

  12. Slipping out.... well maybe not slipping cause the CDC has been more confusing than anything from the beginning. "Some people getting Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines should consider waiting up to eight weeks between the first and second doses, instead of the three or four weeks previously recommended, U.S. health officials said." "The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Tuesday quietly changed its advice on spacing the shots." "CDC officials said they were reacting to research showing that the longer interval can provide more enduring protection against the coronavirus. Research suggests that 12- to 64-year-olds — especially males ages 12 to 39 — can benefit from the longer spacing, the CDC said." This has been one hellava different ride over the last two years. What with... the drivers (super hero`s) of the pandemic relief bus never being able to figure out what route to take. Ohh have the drivers (super hero`s) of the pandemic relief bus figured out there is a difference in the "of" and "with" method of counting? never mind they`ll never get it.

  13. All of the verified retail orders. I think they started this process for new retail orders last summer so dealers could get incremental allocations. We saw a bunch of trucks get scheduled on a Tuesday a few weeks ago that were all COVP.

  14. Most only look at the payment not the price and they’re impatient. I probably would have done the same when I was younger. And they often use false data to rationalize their purchase (I’ll save on gas or repairs - but nowhere near enough to offset the cost of the new one). I don’t rationalize anything any more - I just say I want it and then decide whether to buy it or not. And I figured out a good way to keep it in perspective. Let’s say a new vehicle would cost $20k more than keeping the current one. Would you rather have the new one or the old one with $20K sitting in the front seat?

  15. Interesting. You're probably right. Odd how many people want an SUV as to pay well over MSRP, which is historically unheard of. But, then the same people will decide against an SUV based on fuel pricing, which will be less money in the long run than paying over MSRP. So much for buying a vehicle you can afford, no matter what the price of gas is.

  16. Yep. It's not a lot compared to the overall expense. It would be nice if Ford had a big fuel tank option.

  18. Oh yeah. This truck is mainly for RV towing so I would rather have the extra capacity. I have seen at least two companies mentioned here and/or FTE forums. The stock tank is 32 gallons and two I listed below are 60 gallon and 55 gallon respectively. The additional weight should included in your capacity calculations if needed. https://www.sbfilters.com/fuel-tanks/60-gal-tank-powerstrok - 196 additional pounds* https://titanfueltanks.com/catalog/product/view/id/76/s/ford-crew-cab-short-bed-generation-6-titan-fuel-tank-7020217/category/2/ - 161 additional pounds* Diesel = 7 pounds per gallon Stock tank @ 32 gallons = 224 lbs S&B tank @ 60 gallons = 420 lbs Titan tank @ 55 gallons = 385 lbs * The tanks themselves add some additional weight that isn't factored in and the weight of diesel is approximate. Getting your truck weighed is going to be the most accurate method of determining your truck's actual weight.

  19. Misleading and incorrect. Price protection is a longstanding Ford policy and has nothing to do with extended waiting periods for vehicles. It's also not simply a "reimbursement" to the Dealer as it depends on how the transaction is processed, the sale type, the price adjustment necessary, etc. There are also times when the price protection adjustment is paid by Ford directly to the retail customer. In other cases, the Dealer may make the adjustment themselves at the time of delivery and file the price protection claim with Ford separately.

  26. the Dealer will need the original DORA to backup any price protection, because if they apply for it sometimes that is required for proof. Also....the original order HAS to be for the same person the vehicle was ordered for...there is no price protection for regular stock units...so if they showed you a stock incoming unit, that had a price increase before it arrived, youre out of luck. Also, I believe thenprice protection ONLY applies to differences to base price before options...if the cost of an option itself increases, you do not get that difference...

  28. It is the one that they sell at my linex dealer. I believe it is a B&W like this. https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitch-Ball-Mount/B-and-W/BWTS20066BMP.html?feed=npn&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Google | Shop - Trailer Hitch Ball Mount&adgroupid=87631909362&campaignid=1672411804&creative=404001588902&device=m&devicemodel=&feeditemid=&keyword=&loc_interest_ms=&loc_physical_ms=9024003&matchtype=&network=g&placement=&position=&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIx8Pes_GW9gIVKz2tBh2qqQMjEAQYBSABEgKo0fD_BwE I have several trailers and just wanted something that would not be all crappy looking and wouldn’t need a spacer because all my stuff now is 2”. I’m going to continue using the same weight dist hitch I use now for the TT though.

  30. Its just added expense down the road to replace two batteries, two alternators. Also, its a significant amount of weight to carry around that takes away from payload. It wont' help fuel economy carrying the extra weight around, and spinning one more component on the engine...(I'm sure the decreased mpg is probably insignificant and likely not noticeable, but over the life of the truck, I imagine it would add a little fuel cost). I guess I believe why have it if I don't need it. My plows have worked fine in the past with one battery, and even on this truck with 2 batteries, the plow lights still dim just as much while lifting the plow

  31. It’s a 3” leveling kit. The back is the same size as stock. It’s from Carli… I did the full King pin top with sway bars etc but the ride is really good. I also tow a 12,500 lb 5th wheel and its great.

  32. Hello everyone, long time lurker, first post. I wanted to share my order date and tracking history. Reading others posts helped me along the way so I hope to possibly help someone else. I ordered a F350 DRW CC 6.7 with AS, 5th wheel prep, bed liner, wheel well liners, the works on 10/6/21 from Commercial Motors in South Texas. I received my confirmation email on the same day. After two weeks of nothing and reading this forum, I saw Ice Capades post on production notes showing nothing with AS was being scheduled. I called my dealer and had her remove it. I then received my scheduled for production date on 11/16 with an estimated build date of 1/17/22. I then received an email on 12/27 pushing my estimated build date to 1/31. Checking the tracker, it showed my truck moved into production on 2/4, and then I received an email on 2/7 indicating my truck was built. Watching the tracker, it showed shipped on 2/8 and I received an email saying it was shipped on 2/11with an expected delivery of 2/19 to 2/25. called my dealer yesterday and my truck is in Houston and is expected to be here by Friday, 2/25. It’s been a long wait, albeit not as long as some others on here, but I am so ready. I hope the timeline report here helps in some way.

  37. The one big flaw with Ford’s separating of BEV business is that EVs will take years to pay for themselves, Ford needs the ICE operations to pay for its darling electric vehicles before it kicks its F Series and SUV cash cows to the curb….

  38. Well, I wasn’t really seeking to get a BRaptor, but since I was a day 1 reservation holder that opted to postpone my purchase , I thought I would throw my hat in the ring, after receiving the email from Ford on 1/24. Well, I got an email notification today that I was selected to order one, which is pretty cool. Kind of makes up for the delays in getting my Raptor (truck). It really isn’t the Bronco I was looking to get, but it’s too good of an opportunity to pass up.
