I’m just waiting patiently for a build date or priority (hopefully) order placement for a 2023MY. Basis Ice-Capades post, I’ve emailed my sales manager and asked about priority code, orders ahead of me, and commodity / plant constraints. I’m curious to see his reply.

i got an email like this saying same thing March 18. Will get update every 45 days. As of today it’s been 115 days. Ford can’t even keep there promise to send simple email updates! CS is pathetic!

Originally ordered in January 2022, we received an email from Lincoln in late June stating that we were finally scheduled for production for the week of August 15. A little less than a month later received another email from Lincoln saying that our Navigator production was moved up one week and on August 5 it began to show "in production" on the tracker. Unfortunately, 11 days later it's still showing "in production" so we'll see how that goes. Been patient thus far so no need to gets frustrated now. When we got our window sticker it reflected a credit for the active park assist prep package (which will be retrofitted for free down the road) and a $55 credit for the standard liftgate. Should end up being about $8k below MSRP with the X-plan pricing and price protection. Well today is day #46 since I received this email. And I'm being nice and not counting July 1st when I received it, otherwise it would be day 47. Nothing from Ford, nothing from my dealer. It would take one of their summer IT interns 10 minutes to write a bot that would send these emails and they can't even do that. I bought my first Ford (71 Mustang) a month after I turned 16. I've owned 2 Explorers and 4 F150s since then. But I'm tired of waiting and not getting any younger. I'm going to see what options are available from the dreaded competitors.

Talked to an engineering supervisor, who is retiring in October. She was moved to a GSR purchasing position, having zero experience in purchasing, and leaving in October. Systems engineer, who was brought into Ford because of his extensive mfg experience, was moved out of engineering, to a plant to monitor the final test at the end of a transmission line... on midnight shift. I'm BEGGING for a package, because I'm leaving soon. Because I joined after pensions, it's essentially a quit for me.
