  1. Congratulations! Now you just have to patiently wait which is the biggest challenge, lol.
  2. I don't really like it either. I feel it's getting old. It's the EPA numbers on the sticker that matter to people the most. I would have preferred they had stuck with Twinforce back in the day.
  3. I hope you are right Bob, otherwise I won't be interested in it either.
  4. Bob it looks like your family has quite a collection of Broncos. Thanks for preserving history, as those are some great looking rides.
  5. Why don't dealers automatically inspect vehicles for fit finish prior to customers ever seeing any new vehicles? They are the representatives of the company, although I'm guessing it has something to do with compensation for that work.
  6. I would like to think that HP, torque, and fuel economy are not mutually exclusive when redesigning a modern engine. I hope you're right that Ford is just sandbagging HP numbers.
  7. Great looking Bronco. Is that yours?
  8. I find it difficult to believe that they would create a next-generation 3.5 and not have an increase in HP from a marketing perspective. That doesn't make any sense, considering the HP wars that are regularly occurring.
  9. Take a look at the dealers online inventory and see if it shows up. That would be pretty embarrassing for the local Nissan dealership.
  10. It is shocking that design was approved by management. That car is hideous.
  11. It's still unfortunate they didn't give this a minor refresh to fix some of its stylistic shortcomings. I think consumers would have responded to improved looks. It certainly could have competed with the Infinity QX60, and gave Lincoln another vehicle to sell.
  12. I hope not. That is probably my least favorite things about the new superduty.
  13. After seeing the photo of the Continental at Pebble Beach with the other high end cars, I think I have a new respect for this car. It looked like it belongs in that crowd, and was very sharp.
  14. "That means the actual cost of GM's bailout to taxpayers is much higher, likely on the order of nearly $75 billion, tax experts note." http://www.foxbusiness.com/markets/2016/03/31/wheres-presidential-debate-on-gms-crony-capitalism.html
  15. If the production version of the Navigator is close to this concept, sign me up. The lines are good and I don't anticipate this being a rebadged Expedition.
  16. I am very excited to see the Navigator, as I have been waiting to replace our current Explorer Sport with a full size SUV. I hope you are right about the Nav being revealed.
  17. What would the per-unit cost of adding a trans cooler be to prevent this issue?
  18. I believe you have earned the right to buy whatever you want brother. That is what we fight for, freedom of choice, freedom to live our lives as we see fit within a reasonable rule of law. I find comments about what people should drive verses what they want to drive, to be highly irritating, especially when it isn't their money.
  19. I thought there was an effort to separate Ford dealerships from Lincoln dealerships? I live in the Naperville Illinois area, and there are several dealerships on Ogden Avenue. All of the full line manufacturers in this area have physically separate dealerships for their luxury makes, whereas Fair Oaks Ford Lincoln is one building and the Lincolns and the Fords are mixed together. If you want Lincoln to have its own identity and avoid the gussied-up Ford comments then they need to do something to make sure that the dealerships are separated in some form. When all the other luxury makes in a geograpic area have their own separate dealerships, it doesn't leave a positive perception for Lincoln.
  20. Most officers wear soft body armor rated at IIIa or lower, which stops up to .44 caliber rounds. You need to add ceramic plates to stop the rifle caliber rounds, which adds a lot of bulk and weight to your body armor package, and isn't conducive for daily wear. These ballistic panels will be a very nice addition for any Cruiser for officer protection. Particularly in a felony car stop situation, where the vehicle is used for part of the tactical approach.
  21. Does anyone believe the MKT could be updated enough to be a stopgap until the Explorer base replacement comes? Perhaps they can put the new style front clip from the continental and then restyle the rear of the vehicle. For me the rear of the vehicle is what ruins it.
  22. As a person that has recently been the recipient of an Impala "classic," I can assure you that I completely HATE this strategy as well. I had to turn in my Taurus which had over 100,000 miles on it end I received an Impala in return. The Taurus was well equipped and was a great car. It took a lot of abuse with minimal issues. Actual engine time on the Taurus was probably around a 150,000 miles, since I had it idling a lot. This 2016 Impala classic doesn't have one modern amenity in it that basically come standard in all new cars today. It was like it was plucked off the line in 2006 and handed over to me. I tried to keep my old car and unfortunately I was unable to do so. Instead I'm stuck with this POS, which I can thank Chevrolet for.
  23. It will need 4 door variant to be successful.
