  1. This isn’t surprising considering the UK and California announcing the ban of new gas car sales, more places are likely to take similar stances over time... Pair that with the incoming Biden/Harris administration and what they are said to possibly invest in infrastructure and in going green, it’s no wonder the only mainstream all electric automaker stock continues to rise. Model Y on sale now too right?
  2. Also, I think it's kind of weird how much Americans specifically drag Tesla through the mud. NOT speaking of any particular comments here, I've been thinking this for quite some time... but It seems unnecessary, and even malicious at times. I would think we would be more excited and supportive of our very own engineers and designers making such impact on the world. The automotive industry is changing fairly quickly, for the better I'd say but that's a matter of opinion; Tesla is a huge part of that. Tesla is far from perfect, we could go on and on about the s*** they get wrong but this is innovation. Innovation isn't so easy, for any of our automakers. Let's push more people and companies to be more innovative, and deal with the mistake along the way. That's how we figure it out and build better. My 29 cents...
  3. I dont think I wrote out my point well enough. I wasn't comparing them as competitors. I was not saying one is just as good or not as good or any of that. I don't want to get into that argument because I don't care about other peoples preferences. I was pointing out that people keep using this term "tech" the wrong way. By definition, both Ford and Tesla are "tech" companies, implementing their own tech into the automotive world. Just because one is electric and is combustion doesn't mean they both aren't technology. In that respect, Tesla is not a tech company, but just another automaker, implementing a different technology. I hope that make sense.
  4. NO Tesla is a automotive company, that's using a "new" technology. It's electric yes, but it's automotive. Technology is what Ford and other automakers have been doing for years, and it's no different then what Tesla is doing now. Ecoboost? technology... Electric powertrains? technology, Model T? technology. Tech does not mean future or new... Tech is really just the application of science/engineering.
  5. Wait we were told earlier this month or last month that the Lincoln EV was canceled right?
  6. Is this going to be a mild concept or a production model?
  7. Aviator biggest age demo being between 35-44 is pretty surprising. I know a few guys in their 20's who are really into the Corsair.
  8. I genuinely appreciate both designs, even as "appliances" as some say. It's not like appliances are not designed to be appealing to the consumer, hell it's considered an art in itself. I'll take either for free, Mach E for my money. I think the Mach E will take the crown in competitive test and hopefully consumer eyes. One thing Ford knows how to do, albeit when they absolutely have to is build a great car. And I'm excited for electrification of the auto industry, and how it will push auto design to new places.
  9. They did a great job, inside and out it seems.
  10. Does anyone have any inside info on this? Is COVID the actual reason? Any chance that it'll get rebooted?
  11. My personal choice would be the CX-5 but I can't stand that tiny infotainment screen on top of the dash.
  12. Is anyone actually surprised the Escape came in last? We know it's just not that good. We've talked about it since it's release. Sidenote: Just looking at the interior compared to the rest speaks volume of how much effort was put in this. I don't get it. If I were a part of this company other than being a fan, it's no way in hell I would've released the Escape as it is. It's not bad but it just doesn't stack up to the rest in it's class in design (subjective) or quality.
  13. A little clearer and brighter. I'm excited to get in and compare the 2dr and 4dr. I can't yet decide which one I'll prerfer.
  14. I've loved the Puma since it was first shown. I've watched several reviews of it on youtube and most say it's best in it's class. I really wish they'd bring it here! I'd take one as a daily.
  15. I was hoping for a tailgate as well. It's one of my favorite things about my Bronco. But it isn't a deal breaker for me. I'll likely buy Mach E until I can afford a used Bronco Raptor.
  16. Those headlamps look like they're from the Kia Telluride, and the C-Clamp design looks straight from the GM trucks... Still, I'm a fan of the F-Series so excited to see what it'll look like at it's reveal.
  17. Just my two cents... if he wants to discuss a SFA, and you guys dont, just dont engage! Quite simple... No one has to be silenced or put in time out just because you guys are tired of hearing it. Just stop talking to him about it. There are plenty of other people here who isn't discussing a SFA that you can engage with. I don't think it's fair to try and control what someone wants to discuss, even you find it annoying. HOWEVER, Steve you shouldn't be making personal attacks, insinuating that they are "stupid" or lack comprehension skills, etc. We're all adults here ❤️
  18. Yeah the Ecoboost is cool but I'd take a Sport Trac Adrenalin V8 over the new Ranger any day... and 6.5 so I could use the bigger interior lol The V8 in the Explorer/Mountaineer was no slouch, but it's not just about performance... I prefer the looks, feel, and sound of the Adrenalin as well.
  19. I still wish to own a Sport Trac Adrenalin V8... but man have they held their value!
  20. Batteries for these vehicles need to be recyclable too, if they not already. Go all in in creating a truly green future for the world.
  21. !!!! That would be perfect! The first gen Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (2-Door) is still my fav wrangler. That new Gladiator in Mojave trim is a beast though.
  22. Enough about this escalade... what ownership updates do you have for us? ?
