netvandal
I'm all for better mileage, but I don't think that's the way to get it. I'd much rather see an Ecoboost or even better a small diesel paired with a hydraulic hybrid system. That should produce a truck that gets decent mileage and is actually capable of doing some real work.
RichardJensen
Give me a dunkey. He is also hybrid. I think you mean mule. and that qualifies as POTW. Congratulations.
papilgee4evaeva
Toyota can't figure out how to build a conventional pickup correctly, and they want to try to convert the Prius into one? Yeah, that's a success waiting to happen.

Yeah, that's a success waiting to happen. Are they calling it a Priup or just Prugly? But hey looks or lack there of never stopped people from buying Toyota's in the past
ford4v429
dont be so negative / look at the bright side: the frame wont break. if the floormat catches the gas pedal, you can just throw it in the back- it should fit. a optional tonneau cover could be stored easily in the glovebox. a fiberglass cap could be stored in the house under a twin bed easily, saving garage space. best of all, the tundra could be (relatively) a 'real truck'. I'm sure theres many more potential advantages to this, just gotta think more like Toyota
weiweishen
Give me a dunkey. He is also hybrid. My apology to donkey. Donkey is not hybrid, but mule is. "Horses and donkeys are different species, with different numbers of chromosomes. Of the two F1 hybrids between these two species, a mule is easier to obtain ..."
