MineralstangGT
I saw my first "in the wild" Fusion today in a Toys R Us parking lot. Bordeaux Red 1.6 SE with luxury package. Looked mighty fine. I walked around it a few times to bask in it's glory. Hopefully the owner didn't see me. That is the color that I'm waiting to see in person. I've heard its almost purple though. jinx8402
It's pretty sunny here today, so you could really see the metallic look to it. I would say it's pretty close to a maroon color, so I suppose it could look purple-ish in certain lighting.
hermans
That's the color I have coming. I did see one in Bordeaux before I ordered and it does, in the right light, have a purplish tint to it. But then when the GTO came out again - I had a purple one. elle
Beautiful color, IMO. I saw it before I ordered it, in the bright sunlight, and it's just gorgeous. Not really purple to my eye, but not an average red, either. Really unusual color. Still haven't seen one in the wild around here yet, in any color. -Strike-
When I ordered mine in Aug, I swore I'd be the first in the area to own one. And, well -- If the two cars at my dealership (and their sibling franchise) don't sell within a week, which they haven't yet. -- That may still hold true. :D Unfortunate they've gotten off to a rough start with the Fusion, and also seems like we're a little further behind here in Ontario/Canada for deliveries, even for the dealerships. Selection is very limited around here. I'd still love to see another one in the wild, but I have yet to see one. I'm sure they'll love the free advertisement I'll give them driving around in it, intriguing intrest for them. ghent360
I saw two in frond of my office building a few weeks back. Both had dealer stickers on, so I guess people were test-driving them. One was white, the other was silver. There is a Nissan office in the same building, maybe they were scoping the competition.
expresspotato
I saw one today about 2 minutes from my house as I was driving home. It was a woman driving what looked like a grey SE without luxury package (the chrome was only on the bottom of the windows). Its the first one I've seen on public roads.
elle
I still haven't seen a Fusion, but I saw an Aston Martin yesterday with the trapezoidal grille. Does that count for, maybe, half a point?
dbmaven
Other than mine, I've seen none "in the wild". Definitely get people turning heads and looking as I go by.....
Camride
I saw one on Wednesday last week, but it was someone taking a test drive (it was right down the road from the dealer). It does look really good on the street.
JSKershaw
I saw one on my way to work today. I even got a shot of it with it's turn signal on. I followed it for about 10 min before I had to turn. I really like the look of the top brake light located above the window. I actually don't mind the look of the tail lights in person. I thought I was going to, because of all the rage on these forums. But once I saw them in person they still look great and they are still using LED instead of a regular bulb.
Camride
I don't think the SE tail lights look bad, I just think the Titanium lights look a whole lot better.
timf
I'm starting to see them on the road here on a regular basis now. Had my first chance to sit in one at the dealership this past weekend and while I found the car to be roomy and well laid out, I had a hard time getting over the fact that I'm used to driving a crossover and don't like sitting low. dbmaven
It's definitely an adjustment - I went from an Infiniti G35 Coupe (talk about low.....? :D) to a 2011 Edge, and now to the Fusion. There, and back, again.
turbo923
Saw a blue one on 283 near my house. Was torn between the blue and ruby red....glad I got the red. It was a nice color, but definately was a little too purplish in the light for my tastes.

Camride
I saw an oxford white one coming out a hotel this morning, looked like a rental. From a distance (and from the side) I thought it was a BMW until I got closer.
hermans
This AM I was on my way home from the dealer and saw my first one "in the wild." It was the one I test drove on 10/4. I would have liked to roll up next to the guy and shouted - I DROVE IT FIRST. Edited November 28, 2012 by hermans

akirby
I saw 2 sterling greys on the way to and back from the dentist. Only the 2nd and 3rd ones I've seen so far.
timf
There's now a sterling grey in the parking lot at work. Appears to have replaced a circa-2010 Fusion.
Pers69
Saw my first today. Unfortunately going the other way :-(
Camride
Saw my first today. Unfortunately going the other way :-( That's not unfortunate, you saw it from the best angle, the front.
-Strike-
When I was at my dealership yesterday he was telling me about some of theirs being in the TBD hell, so they've done some cross-dealer trades to get a few more on their lots, since they only had two. I think they have a total of 5 now? They've sold two already, I'll be the third. He said it's been a pretty slow month for sales anyways, but it'll pick up. Still have yet to see one on the road. lmp180psu
I have seen 2 Fusions for less than 5 seconds so far, but I got to see a new MKZ yesterday for 2-3 minutes. It was a silver 2.0 with Michigan manufacturer plates on it. It does have a nice presence and i liked the back end more than I thought i would have. The rear led cluster should be bigger though...seems a bit out of proportion with the size of the trunk lid. I do think the Fusion has a better overall look.
