LincolnLover
HAHAHAHAHAHA! That's pretty funny stuff! You made me go back and read what I wrote, and I'll admit, it kinda sounds like I'm a psycho or schizophrenic lmao. That's funny as hell.
jasonj80
It's actually very common to see the old prototypes driving around, the extended fusion in camp is still out as are 2015 f-150 with camp, They could be testing powertrain, this explorer is a bit odd as it's using the new digital camo, it could be a powertrian mule for the 9speed. It could also be a mule to test the new digital camo. Ford already has a CD4 platform that could be used for the Explorer, the 3 row edge.

theoldwizard
More likely to be a 9-speed auto test mule... Powertrain test mules do NOT get full camo.

LincolnLover
Next gen Mustang! That would be great, especially if a Lincoln LS successor is spawned.... HAHAHAHAHAHA Edited November 1, 2016 by LincolnLover
LincolnLover
What if there's a coyote under there with a 10-spd?!?!?!

akirby
especially if a Lincoln LS successor is spawned. So you want a 280 hp sedan with a cheap interior and non-compliant suspension?
630land
It's a reboot of the LTD Country Squire! Or maybe a Lincoln LS Colony Park!!
LincolnLover
So you want a 280 hp sedan with a cheap interior and non-compliant suspension? Haha what are you comparing it to? Back in it's day it was clearly a true competitor, I'd say it was better than the Cadillac CTS. The only reasons it failed is no AWD system, no higher performance suspension, and the interior was too cheap, and the rear fascia stunk, should've had full width tail lights, or first gen MKZ lights would've been sick. We had/have a LS, it was an excellent vehicle, far better than the MKZ that replaced it, and easily is proven based on sales numbers in a similar time frame..... LincolnLover
Oh and they jerked off on the platform with not altering it to accept a larger Ford engine, whether it was a 4.6 or not..... limiting themselves to the 3.9 V8 and stupid 3.0 V6 was a mistake..... I literally bet on everything I own, I could've made the LS more successful than anything Lincoln ever had.....
LincolnLover
I'd rather have a 3.9 V8 with 280hp and 286lb ft of torque and RWD than a FWD 3.0TTV6 350hp and 400lb ft torque with torque steer galour and a plain interior... The 3.9 V8 can make that power easily.....
LincolnLover
And I don't think the MKZ suspension something special.... The LS suspension can be enhanced through the aftermarket..... I never said they should take that 5th grade level designed car that I could've designed in th womb and bring it in 2017
fuzzymoomoo
I never said they should take that 5th grade level designed car that I could've designed in th womb and bring it in 2017 Yes you have. Repeatedly.
LincolnLover
Yes you have. Repeatedly. No I've never said bring back the 2006 Lincoln LS..... I said make a true LS successor with the same basic concept but in a modern sense....
LincolnLover
Why would I want a cheap interior and a trash platform/performance in 2016 standards? If I wanted that I'd save some money and just buy a Mustang.....
LincolnLover
And only RWD..... again I'd just buy a Mustang Edited November 1, 2016 by LincolnLover
LincolnLover
The Zephyr/MKZ in no shape way or form was better than the LS..... sorry all it was was cheaper to make

akirby
I bought a new 2000 V8 LS Sport and drove it for 6 years. I still belong to the original LS Owners Club. You have no idea what you're talking about.
