jasonj80
If that was the case, Ruby Red would have been eliminated also...well it replaced Candy Red, but they where almost identical colors. Ruby Red has an upcharge for it now, if they needed to do that with a metallic black color so be it.
fuzzymoomoo
Agreed, I think it was eliminated (along with Kona Blue) with the tsunami in Japan as of right now Kona Blue is being used for Focus and C-Max but it's being dropped for MY2018 in favor of Blue Metallic

Strangely enough, Bronze Fire was an upcharge on my parents' Edge, but not on my Super Duty. Ruby Red is an upcharge on the Super Duty like you mentioned. I guess I have a limited edition SD since Bronze Fire was eliminated for the '18 model year.

I'm really liking the Magma Red on a Lariat sport.
fordmantpw
I'm really liking the Magma Red on a Lariat sport. Me too...that color is really sharp!
rmc523
I guess I have a limited edition SD since Bronze Fire was eliminated for the '18 model year. My Flex is Light Ice Blue (with the White Suede roof), which they only offered on it in 2009. So I have a unique color on an already niche vehicle. And for kicks and giggles, it's a Limited model....it says so on the hatch! :P
ice-capades
OK... another vote here on the Tuxedo Black Metallic. It was a nice change at first but I thought that it looked tired after a few years. I was very glad when they brought back a traditional flat black paint.
