timmm55
Although it has a very nice profile, the front and rear are, to be polite, dowdy/busy/clumsy IMHO. Here's my attempt to make it look a little more cohesive. I raised the roof line (too narrow and impractical) made a different "3 Bar" grill: mesh in this case with a Blue Oval signature rather than a belt buckle, cleaned up the hood/trunk, got rid of the Silverado headlights. Blueblood
I wish someone would photoshop out all the hideous plasti-chrome that looks like it was stolen off a 81 Granada.. Would be interesting to see it in monochrome and in some different colors than old man light blue.

That's really fantastic. It really responded to raising the roof line! Only my tase but, I think it would look even better if you could photoshop a chrome border around the opening and add a thin 3 - Bar grille, then apply an oversized blue oval in the middle - Sweet! Vaquero28
A few changes and different views. To make it a bit more mainstream and perhaps a little more sellable.

ZanatWork
Can someone slant the nose a bit and incorporate more of the 427/Fusion facia than this Super Chief look? I didn't mind this nose on the truck concept, but it's all wrong for a car.
coupe3w
I agree this is getting worse looking. The car to begin with is all wrong. What is Mays trying to do here? I don't get it. The car looks like a big ugly boat.
Blueblood
Chrome strips went away in the 80's, why is Ford putting then on future concepts? I wish I had photoshop so I could remove them and see how it looks... Anybody want to give it a try?
timmm55
With a Fusion nose.....
NickF1011
With a Fusion nose..... Looks 100 times better than the concept's brick wall face. Bravo!
timmm55
...and since the new Focus has a 2-bar grill, it's only appropriate the Top Dog Interceptor should have a 4-bar grill ;-) Edited January 29, 2007 by timmm55
Watchdevil
With a Fusion nose..... Oh damn that looks so much better. See the Fusion front end looks great to me but just throwing a three bar grille on everything without the rest of the Fusion look just doesn't work. It has a lot to do with the headlight, hood and bumper shapes. That is why the Five Hundred looks like a Tempo with a 3-bar grille. And it's why the new Montego looks better, because they tranferred more of the Milan look to it.
fordmatt21
i think the rear is fine, no need to photoshop there but i definately like the one with the fusion nose but with the new 500 i think putting it on the interceptor would be overdoing it a little. as for the photoshops with the single headlamps instead of the stack i think that it makes the car look too much like an import. kinda reminds me of a acura tl. Mark B. Morrow
The stacked headlights are part of what gives the look its connection to the original '65-'66 design. The horizontal headlight set up is the reason the 3 bar grille isn't as effective on the new 500 as it is on the 427 Concept, Fusion and Edge (IMHO)
NorfolkBuilt
I like the direction of these for sure.Very fresh for a Ford vehicle. Quit being so critical people, its not like they get paid for it.
timmm55
IMHO opinion there's sort of a Super Lexus 450LS look to my chop. But meaner and sleeker. Edited February 9, 2007 by timmm55

falconman13
Take Timmm55's chop, black out the chrome, recess the grill a bit, change to egg crate, change wheels, and you got a Police Interceptor Mike
