That is unclear. This appears to be a major rethink influenced by the learnings of the UEV platform. The ultimate goal is always on taking cost out and reducing complexity.

Eh.....I don't see them doing a traditional full refresh with Bronco.   I see them taking the Wrangler approach where it's largely the same with a nip-tuck here and there (new grilles, etc), some added features (grab handles, etc) and/or trims (Filson) and a lot of specialty models (Everglades, Heritage, Stroppe, etc) that keep it "fresh" while not being a full redesign.  We're already 4-5 model years in.  I think it'll soldier on for another 3 or so years before full redesign.

A Large EV CUV? I don't think so at this point.    If anything, I'd see the Nautilus getting canned for a RWD CD6 Mustang CUV instead.    The current CD6 is about 199 inches long and I'd expect the CD6 2 row to be around 190-193 (current Nautilus).    Plus the Nautilus is kind of an orphan-its built in China on the LWB C2, which doesn't exist in an North American plant.     

Doug Demero ran a segment on this on his podcast, and is also saying this is likely a Bronco refresh.

I think the Nautilus and Aviator will share a lot inside and out. The major difference outside of length would probably the standard engine. 

There are significant winds of change happening that are not yet clear or fully baked.   It appears that eventually in the 2030’s there will be a platform consolidation of sorts. C2 and CD6 look to be replaced with a single platform, C3.

Gas prices are currently higher here in Prescott, WI than they are in Hamden, CT, a rare occurrence, lol: $4.49 87E10; 5-49-.69 91E0; and $6.29-.49 Diesel#2. A few stations have turned off their price signage.

Translation: Our in-house system was more costly than we thought and we could not get it to work right.
