Just add a bed and it's a truck. That's the way I'm envisioning these new EVs. Modular components that get stuck together to make a different vehicle. Want an SUV? Add a covered backend. Want a truck? Extend it a bit and add a bed. Want a sedan, add a trunk. Want a seven passenger SUV? Take the truck and cover the bed. -

I could keep discussing it with you both - but I will stop here. I disagree and I will leave it at that. -
I think is all to do with return over volume, many corporations use this metric to make their business more efficient. While it is leaving sales on the table, senior management know that the real money lies with going after lifestyle and premium customer sales id fall over laughing if Ford ends up making just as much profit selling batteries to major projects and retail consumers, funny how the future can be different than what we imagine

Could be nothing, but I was on the maverick forums where they were discussing the skunk truck. Someone was looking at patent filings for Ford, and found a patent showing the assembly process for the skunkworks EVs. But the image isn't a truck. It almost looks like a second gen mach-e or something. -
Newer models like BS and Maverick also tend to have a higher trim sales mix too and that’s where commodity models struggle, the titanium was available in Focus, Fusion and Escape but once those sales fall away the premium buyers have moved on, sometimes because they don’t want to trade for the near same vehicle again…

The more I think about that, the better the deal sounds for both parties. Shelby also offers a post title pack, not sure if the details but it sounds if you already own a Mustang/Truck, they will transform it into a Shelby version

And yet the BS and Maverick top trims are priced HIGHER than Escape titanium. Which is the point we keep trying to make and you keep ignoring.

Who cares what is called-they have similar features like having leather seats, higher end engines, etc. -

Nowhere near Titanium....LOBO is a "Sports truck" and Bronco Sport Badlands is an "Offroad lifestyle" SUV. Escape has had ST trim and could have had a "Tremor" trim that would compare...Titanium is tilted more toward the luxury end of the spectrum. -

Maverick Lobo and Bronco Sport Badlands are the top trims.
