But that freightliner dealer doesn’t sell F150s, 250s or 350s or Transits. So while they might prefer to use one supplier that one supplier doesn’t exist.
Obviously the juice is t worth the squeeze on class 8.
Off topic,
we got clobbered by hail on Saturday and Sunday here in Australia (Ipswich and Brisbane area) two weekends in a row now..
hail up to the size of tennis balls, scarey as….My little Mazda CX7 got hit but we were on the edge of the storm so still driveable with dents..

2025 Ranger Raptor 3.0 Liter twin turbo with 600 miles. Cold start rattle sound has been there since new. Does your Raptor sound the same? Have you had your cam phasers assessed at the dealer and or replaced?
Thanks for your feedback.

Ford and a lot of other makers have forgotten that the average vocational truck fleet's purchasing is done by an overworked purchasing manager who has to keep the enterprise supplied with tools, raw materials, uniforms, office equipment, and vehicles of all sizes. Said purchasing manager would thiu prefer to acquire as much of their needs from as few sources as possible, and the Ford of forty years ago that could supply everything from a Fiesta to a Louisville and off road tractors and construction equipment too and would be their go to supplier. Nowdays when a vocation fleets needs exceed what an F750 can accomplish they go to A Freightliner dealer, see what they've been missing, and forget about Ford.
There was a whole discussion about it here when it happened.
E-Transit isn’t selling like hotcakes, but benefits from not being bespoke (or Canadian).
I really hoped for a Brightdrop RV.
Ford’s plan for Europe is disjointed, not sure that it really understands what buyers want (not what they’re building$
No escape/Kuga replacement is insane
Relying on MEB Escape/Capri sales also insane
Puma is promising as hybrid and BEV
Wish they’d get a clue and do C2s that way.,..
I was careless and damaged a piece of trim on the rear of my 2014 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. I prefer to back into spaces in a parking lot because I feel it is safer to leave the space by pulling forward instead of backing out. Well this time when I backed in, I didn't realize that the back of my car rode up on a 6x6 piece of wood that demarked the edge of the parking space. When I pulled out, I heard a terrible sound, so I stopped, looked at the rear and realized what I had done.
I am confident that I can repair the damage myself, *if* I can order the correct replacement part. I think I found the part at the Ford Parts Direct website, but the image looks like it is upside down.
If you have a moment, look at the two attached jpg's and comment. Thank in advance.
So the first move Fird made was to introduce the F600 which is an extension of the F550.
That move alone tore into F650 sales reducing them by about a third or more.
So now it’s down to niche sales where Ford is not required to do much to get smallish sales.
I feel your frustration Bob but we know how Ford wants to run it larger trucks, low hanging fruit only.
Interesting. Your post was so out of context that it made little sense due to midsize reference, so made me curious. Tried opening link and it took me to a different page than what I copied. I’ll see if I can find later, if for no other reason than to learn how things can go wrong. 😑
Anyway, the page I had been reading showed 3-row SUVs in different sizes, prices, and with different powertrain types. The recap that opens now is a fraction of entire list which was extensive. I suppose if Stellantis doesn’t have to invest much to create this new RAM SUV there isn’t much downside or risk, but I can’t see them selling that many given vast competition including from their own brands.
