Better believe it! You guys crossed a line! @akirby, there is clearly sufficient grounds to ban these two misfits.

WATT would be a better name for a group in a power company! 😄 Leave off the Terrific, though! 😄 -
AT&T has a resource group for women called WATT. Women of AT&T. I always said they should rename themselves the Teriffic Women of AT&T. 😲😆😂

Likewise, the unfortunate "Volkswagen Automotive Group". Might pass in Germany, but once it's an acronym... There's a dealership near me that had a name change, and when I condensed it into an acronym, I realized they'd named themselves "SPACL". That's been a source of much amusement. I frequently tell people I'd love to be the person who comes up with the names for colors. Some have been great. Some... when they rolled out Blue Metallic (FT) in 2018, it was just called "Blue". One fun non-automotive product naming story. A buddy of mine designed a paintball gun when he was head of R&D for one of the bigger manufacturers in the sport. It was super small, he actually tested it inside the body shell of another gun type, rigged up fake fittings, had a bunch of fun with it. When it came time to name it, calling it the "Mini" was a no-brainer. The same "engine" was going to be used in a larger body, more air volume, lower pressures, more opportunities for custom versions. The name meeting went on and on. As a joke, he said maybe they should call it the "Maxi"... and then had to talk Marketing off the ledge, explaining to them why that was NOT a good idea. It wound up being called the Axe.

Sounds like next gen EVs from GM ain't gonna keep the big shots at Ford, Tesla, or them Chinese companies up at night. Inside GM's Plan for Its Next-Gen EVs | GreenCars GM is actively working on its next-generation EVs, aiming to make them both more affordable and more efficient. At the core of the fourth-generation architecture is the lithium manganese-rich (LMR) battery chemistry GM announced in spring 2025, just a few weeks after Ford announced a similar chemistry. Ford has remained quiet about its LMR plans since then, but GM has provided regular updates. Most recently, the automaker announced it had started retooling the Ultium Cells plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee, which it runs as a joint venture with LG Energy Solution. One thing GM doesn’t seem to be doing is following Ford, Tesla, and many Chinese automakers toward a structure made from large-scale die castings and structural battery packs. So far, the overall structure of the fourth-generation EVs appears to be fairly conventional. While an efficiency boost is important, GM’s current EVs aren’t class-leading to begin with, and a 20 percent improvement still won’t make them one. The current front-wheel-drive Chevrolet Equinox EV is rated at 31 kilowatt-hours per 100 miles. A 20 percent improvement will only get it roughly on par with the latest Toyota bZ at 26 kWh/100 miles.

Oh sure, that I'd agree with.......I was just saying there's no chance it's a street-legal option.

Or even more farcical, they could send spy balloons over our country's military sights. Oh wait, they already did that.
