Yeah, there definitely is quite a bit (reportedly) on the horizon in the 2028-2030 timeframe, but that's still a while to wait......especially when you point out it's already been a long time waiting on redesigns for several key products too.

Wonder how Toyota didn't see any redflags with TRD... or Dodge's Scat Pack...🙄

It sounds like 2028-29 is gonna be a massive period of product launches for Ford. Additional UEVs, new f-150, new bronco, new mustang coupe and sedan, new bronco sport and maverick.    But it's probably gonna be pretty dry until then. 

in the grand scheme of things, I don't think the rockets (assuming they are going to be mounted fairly high) is going to kick up that much debris behind it vs say someone driving a lifted truck without mudflaps behind it.    The amount of pressure say 20 ft from the car vs under that is going to be considerably less.  But all of this is just SWAGing anyways till we get more details. 

Maybe if Ford is feeling really daring, they'll tease the fathom under a sheet, under another a sheet, under another sheet.    Sheetception?

It is pretty bad that we are going on over 5 YEARS since Ford has launched a new nameplate and it will be at least till next Summer before the Fathom comes out, which is more or less just a EV Maverick dismissively  I sure do hope they have more launches next year.

Yeah, I know it's just a reality of automotive timelines (especially when they've pivoted directions multiple times) and that we're more knowledgeable than most of what's going on, but it's annoying that all Ford has seemingly done the last 3-4 years is to talk about this that and the other that's "coming, just wait!"  It'd be nice if they'd actually release something - even if a concept - to keep interest.     In the meantime, we'll get 37 more teases of the Fathom's corner reflector marker to generate excitement!!
