Yeah, I don't see a need for Dark Horse to go away. I view that as more of a "GT+" package anyway. Which is another reason using "Dark Horse SC" was dumb, as now you're stuck if you wanted to add a "GT350" back in.......so now you're going to have 3 "Dark Horse" models, which are all unrelated to each other aside from name. Add in the fact, I don't think it sounds special, they sound more like additional packages to the "regular" Dark Horse.

See how ridiculous the Dark Horse name is? Even a Ford fan can't remember it's Dark Horse and not Black Horse! 😄 -

Who knows I know it was getting kicked around on Mustang 7G. I'd rather them just use Boss instead, since that works. The other rumor was the Dark Horse regular edition would go away because of this product, but I don't think that needs to happen. The Dark Horse starts at $65K and the BHSC starts at 104, which gives you plenty of room for another product. I could see a 70-75K starting point for say 550-600HP NA out of a 5.4L -

Yet another no duh artice Ford Fathom Pricing Will Stretch Into the 'High $30,000 Range' -

My expectations are that you'll see the Fathom early next year (January-April, my guess is on the later end of that timeframe) and without any major hiccups it should hit dealerships by the start of November, going by the timeframe of other products. -
The big shots at Ford ain't ignoring the continuing EV losses, they're acknowledging what was mentioned earlier: EV startups (of which Ford Model e is one) lose money while they invest in capability, develop knowledge, build (sales) volume and gain (market) share. Goes hand in hand with what akirby mentioned about great learning tools. We can all justifiably criticize Model e's sparse product lineup of only two EV models currently in production for the U.S. market as of Q3 2026, which is pathetic. But we should not criticize the division for losing money at this point in its lifecycle.
