Good question - for some reason, the article only had the two pictures (or I guess whoever found it only took the two).

That's why reliability and great drivers are key, that's what wins races. It's not the 60s where the gt40 had like a 40 mph advantage down the straights lol.    Genesis is running the same chassis, and it seemed like they did pretty darn well in their first Le mans this year, so that's a promising sign.

*First five plants. The other three current plants are in Mexico and Canada. Though the point remains, there are still advantages to production in the US. Canada isn't cheaper and Mexico is pushing closer to cost parity with the US (especially if you factor in some level of tariffs.)    Honda has eight production plants in North America, but only six build production cars and trucks. PMC in Ohio is only for the NSX. El Salto Mexico plant builds motorcycles and non-automotive motors.
