Mach E seems to be suffering the "creeping Ford rot on the vine" disease....Ford adopted the NACS standard, what...two years ago? Yet Mach E still does not have an upgraded NACS port....Why? It seems like it should have happened at least a year ago....nope, just stick 'em with an adapter and ignore the car. That's my main complaint about Ford and I am a fan AND a shareholder. Frustrating. -

As far as I know, Shelby Mustang conversions are done at their facility in Las Vegas. -
This is good news that they're applying the CE1 learnings to ICE products: Ford’s EV Skunk Works Tech Is Quietly Reshaping The Gas Lineup Too | Carscoops Speaking during an earnings call, Farley said the platform “represents a step change in efficiency and cost, especially for the EV market.” While the company has been touting those benefits for awhile, the executive revealed they’re now integrating these “skunk works breakthroughs” into their mainstream products and processes. He went on to say the Blue Oval is applying learnings from the program to their high-volume internal combustion and hybrid lines, and this will help to reduce costs as well as improve quality. Farley added that by the end of the decade, 90% of their global nameplates will offer electrified powertrains including hybrid, electric, and range-extended options.

I figured it's leftover 2025 stock essentially.

Tall order that for some reason Ford can't do. My son helped my granddaughter buy a 21 Escape...She is college sophomore that is pursuing a major that will get her a real job. She loves her Ford! A future buyer. I have to believe that most dealers thought this was a dumbass move. And not to go off thread but what is the idea of the day from Mr Farley as far as playing nice with China? Are they a safe bet today or the end of the American auto industry??? Check the box Mr F🤔arley -
They include those incase a dealer still has one in stock for whatever reason. Final pay is a rebate paid to the dealer when they stop putting retail incentives on the previous model year if a dealership still has them in stock.

So where are these being built!? What is meant by that that? Final production? or they leftovers from last year? -

Gotcha, I've just seen some brands, including Ford, sharing sheet metal between products to save costs, think how the explorer and Capri for instance share some of their body work, and I thought that was what you were proposing. But I see where you're coming from. -

You left out "I will never buy a Ford ever again!" -
I'm about to be a hero to a young man who had ordered his Mustang GT in December. It came in early this week, and he had to push picking it up to today at the earliest. 😁
