  1. I think it’ll be a lot longer than 12 years before the pickup fleets are all electric because I’ve driven through west Texas. Out there, everywhere is at least 90 miles from anywhere else.

  3. Just watched this 23 SD video by TFL truck. It is a great video on options and design changes.

  4. The MSRP on my 22 went up a shade under $6k from when I ordered mine which was right after 22 order banks opened up to the last price increase for the 22’s. My 2012 SD MSRP was $47k and if I had optioned my 22 the exact same it would have been $55.5k so we’ve done about 10 years of MSRP inflation in about 10 months ?.

  5. My big question is when did Ford and TFL kiss and make up?

  6. Yes...I believe Farley has publicly stated ...."except HD trucks"... or words to that effect. I also think more people are beginning to ask...."but where does the electricity come from"????? Usually followed by a discussion on materials used in battery construction. As always, no such thing as a free lunch.

  7. Hello everyone, I took delivery of my truck on Saturday, everything cleaned up well, however, the door/hood gaps will need to be addressed. This is an ongoing problem at KTP, during assembly. My timeline is as follows: Ordered 01/25 Scheduled 05/14 Built 06/21 Released for shipping 06/23 Sat idle no holds, Shelbyville, KY Ramp 8P 06/23-09/10 (79 Days) Arrived Kansas City NS Voltz yard Ramp CA6P 09/15 Arrived dealership 10/05 (20 days from ramp arrival) Accepted vehicle 10/08. (256 days from order to delivery) Good luck to everyone, I know this process has been frustrating for many members.

  8. Correct, this allows closing down the 6.2 at Romeo plant and increasing product at the Windsor 7.3 plant, in overall terms, the 6.8 is money for jam in F250/350 XL and XLT, allowing 7.3 to stay a premium option. Ford is now saying that everything won’t go EV in the next few years, I take this as Super Duty buyers….

  9. With interest rates going nuts and the MSRP climbing (mine jumped 4k+ from order to delivery) I cannot see making the leap especially if the dealers are not giving trade values like in the recent past. I can imagine my 22 Lariate pushing 88k MSRP on a 23 as it's equipped now. I read an article the other day that stated auto manufacturers are hesitant to discount cars and like to produce the higher end trims as its best for their bottom line. How is this sustainable?

  10. I don't really see the point in wasting development dollars on anything ICE with everything going EV in the next few years, but it is an improvement as a base engine in the Super Duty. I suppose with the 7.3 V8 already engineered this didn't cost them much.

  11. Also glad I got a 22, I like the widespread availability of LED’s on the 23 and don’t hate the front end with certain grilles. However, while I get the function I am not a fan in the least bit of the bed and bumper steps and am very disappointed they aren’t optional.

  12. This video really made me happy I was able to get a 2022. The new interior is too wannabe Tesla, the facelift is not my jam either. Honestly the only thing I wish I could get is the HUD.

  16. Instead of deleting this I’ll just point out that the reason for the pandemic is irrelevant - the damage to supply chains is real. And remind you that this isn’t the place for political debate.
