  1. They're going to try to take the mullet market from Chevy?!!!
  2. And these people are so shocked when they can't find a good job.
  3. Surprising news... (To me anyway) I just saw that in Car and Driver about the small Volvo models. They are gone!
  4. I would look at an AWD Lincoln focus based car for my next car. I am so impressed with a Focus, that I'd like to see what a Lincoln design team could do with it.
  5. Maybe the car that will get the MKR name and some of the style tweaks will be the Focus based car and not a RWD like so many expect. At this point, anything can happen and that a Focus based "MKR" would be an economical car.
  6. But with the amazing horsepower AND fuel economy numbers and features, Ford's cars are a technology showcase. The difference is that Ford's technology is more in step with the times, and the average customer can afford it.
  7. The GM ads won't suddenly brainwash me into buying a GM car and I don't think it will work on any of you. Instead of getting burned asses you should smile about GM wasting their money here. :D
  8. With the Explorer and Edge, ford will only build the turbo 4 with front wheel drive. No AWD with the 4. I ask, why not? If there is a reason that Ford believes that the Four can not handle the AWD system, then it probably would not be good for a truck that people will use for work. Maybe the four will have to rev more and negate the fuel economy advantage in a heavy truck.
  9. Wouldn't anyone notice this in a test drive? Is this something that gets progressively worse? If a car was acting like the one in the video when I test drove it, I would not buy it no matter how good the rest of it was.
  10. The last time I needed a rental, I couldn't find any Fusions either. The only Ford that littered the rental lots were the 2008-2011 Focus. They were quite common. As far as the Malibu goes... I guess I'm in the minority. I really like the back of the car. I also like the front, but it does look a little too much like the current car. I think it will get old looking fast because of it.
  11. I hope you don't have the preproduction prototype that Motor trend had! Otherwise we will see a review like this: Last place- Ford Explorer The highs are it's a good looking car. The lows are that the My ford caused sunspots which knocked out HBO in seven states. The unrefined engine made our fillings fall out. The interior gave the staff VD and later made Amy Winehouse die from its exhaust fumes. Ford tried to tell us we're full of shit, and when we told them we will print this anyway, they said it must have been the prototype. But you know what they say about making a second first impression, Love, the staff of Motor Trend.
  12. Wow, Fiat managed to grab 2 billion in free money from GM and now 1.3 billion in free money from the government through Chrysler! This makes me sick thinking about it!
  13. I am disappointed. Ford has always been a class act toward their rivals and this comment is uncalled for. I know Ackerson and co have been pushing buttons as of late, but I like it better when Ford acts like the better man.
  14. I love how they name the ripoff of Smart the IQ.
  15. Next thing you know, Hollywood will produce a movie starring Greg Kinear... Oh, wait.
  16. Damn, I had a really CGI shot from my tv show and it wont upload. I guess that humor didn't translate well either.
  17. Oh yeah. Ignore my last post. This picture is 100% real too. I took it myself.
  18. Of course it's a joke! I know it was a rendering. Are you two joking?!! Seriously, you can't make a sarcastic comment any more. When they made the picture they could have scaled it better. I just thought it looked goofy the way they did it.
  19. Did anyone notice it's the size of a hot wheels car? Look at the cracks in the pavement for scale.
  20. What?... I don't know... Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!
  21. ... but wait. Isn't Honda having automatic transmission problems of their own?
  22. Subaru had that feature in the 1980's for manual transmission cars. I'm surprised that it took everyone else so long to do this.
  23. What about the comment I posted yestarday from another thread? He is quoted as saying that both the new Cadillac XTS and ATS whaich aren't even out yet "won't knock your socks off" , but will be, "competitive". These cars need to be hits and the standard of the world... And he says this?!!
