My Focus has it and I like it. I rented a 14 Taurus in Atlanta and it has the newer one that doesn't stay clicked over. It took a day to get used to it but when I did it was ok. BTW MFT was pretty neat but did require a learning curve..... Like 15 minutes lol. I guess journalists just don't have that much time.
Talked to a guy the other day who tows a lot and runs a plow and has the 6.7 in a F350 crewcab. He gets 9.5 mpg... that's his average. My V10 gets 8.5 in a service body truck that weighs 11,500 pounds with a box that creates a lot of drag. Point being I don't think the mileage of the 6.7 is that impressive.
I was there Saturday night and I was very disappointed that the Transit was locked and that the only version was the wagon. I would think they would be willing to have unlocked versions of a vehicle that is this close to release. The Mustang I get.
Also checked out the Dodge ProMaster and while it is a nice package, the interior is cheap and the front end is hideous.
What is the obsession with Lincoln having exclusive engines? Just make a great car with great styling that handles and rides appropriately, has plenty of power, and nobody will care if it shares an engine. It will sell regardless!
I really like the new Corvette. I never thought I would say this but if I was spending $60k I would have a tough decision between the GT500 or the Vette. In the long run I would probably opt for the Mustang because I am a Ford loyalist, but the Vette is compelling.
Well maybe the exhaust will be like the fusion and be different for different trim levels? Just because a mule shows it one way doesn't mean all trims will be the same.
