I remember seeing them in Germany in 1995 and they still look the same to me!
cbrown888
Yes it is the redesigned Ford Ka. I see tons of these cars on the roads of Europe when we are there
Edstock
In the late autumn the second edition of the Ka starts. With the small Ford concerns it a Kuckuksei: The Design comes from Ford, but is ausgebrutet the baby with Fiats in Poland. The Ka II divides not only the production plants with the new Cinquecento, but also substantial technical components. The Ka-chassis still in principle comes from the old Panda, but the engines are full on the high one the time. Completely again fur the Ka: a small and very economical Diesel, a 100-PS-Benziner fur the sporty ST-version, an automated transmission fur the stop and go Verhehr. Ford plans small direct replacement fur the Roadster Streetka, but in co-operation with Fiats there could be a compact combination and 2+2 a sitziges Cabrio. Also that has good chances mildly hybrid, which is to use only 3,9 litres. As basis fur an electric car commodity the Ka/500-Due likewise suitably. A further bonus are gunstigere prices - the mass macht' s.

Sixt9coug
Thats confusing it with the SportKa. The Ka's evil twin.
NickF1011
Thats confusing it with the SportKa. The Ka's evil twin. A Ka is a Ka by any other name. Unless you're in Boston, in which case, a Ka could be any number of Kas.
Sixt9coug
I will not hear of the Ka's good name being tarnished by the actions of the SportKa. Its evil, it transforms and craves blood. Its a WareKa

battyr
Likely too small to sell in the US. Unless you turn it into something like a Smart or a Honda CRX.
igor
Likely too small to sell in the US. Unless you turn it into something like a Smart or a Honda CRX. Well Toyota is thinking of bringing the Aygo here - and if anyone can convince Americans A-segment is big enough for them 0- Toyota (or Honda) is that someone ... if it catches on (and especially if Fiat starts selling the 500 in US - I predict, Ford will not be far behind - with one possible caveat - Fiat will force them to NOT sell here to keep all the market for the 500. jpd80
The more the merrier, At least the baby Fords have some style compared to those baby fridge magnets Toyota calls cars. If Ford has smaller cars to fill vacant positions then surely a combined few thousand sales each month is worth it.

Igor Ford has a history of losing money on small cars in the US. The smaller they are, the harder it is to make money. They need to convince people to buy a smaller car with out paying a smaller price. That's why they must make it more than just a smaller, cheaper car. Face it. If the new Fiesta didn't have it's looks, they would not be able to bring it to the US.

ANTAUS
I think we are starting to turn that page where their will be more quality and content in smaller packages. Something that has worked for Europe, but because of our markets, it hasn't. Our automotive sector will look very much like that of Europe (sans diesels maybe), so I wouldnt be surprised to see a fully loaded Fiesta hitting $18k With Navi and all the trimmings. A small car is not a hard sell when gas is $5.00/gal or more, you don't really need to convince buyers when they're given all the options (if not room) they find in larger Fords.
