Congratulations and I hope you enjoy your gorgeous Focus . Oh by the way, what are your first impressions about the car especially the new myFord touch . RangerM
I saw one of these on the road the other day. At first glance the gap between the logo and the hood on the front makes it look (to me) like the hood hasn't been latched fully. It was red, so maybe the effect isn't as pronounced for other colors. Otherwise I thought it looked great.
transitman
Congratulations and I hope you enjoy your gorgeous Focus . Oh by the way, what are your first impressions about the car especially the new myFord touch . My first impression after I left the lot was how tight and quiet it was. The handling is very precise and the trans shifts smooth as silk. The Sony stereo sounds great and I like the ease of using the MFT touch screen. The steering mounted controls are the easiest way to access my phone but I'm still working out how to control the rest of the media from the steering wheel. I'm extremely happy with the car. ds91776
One thing that has not been discussed is the different colored trim on the console between the SE and the SEL/Titanium versions. The SE seems to sport a traditional metallic color while the SEL/Titanium features an almost pearl-like color. What do people think of this? How does the pearl color look up close and in person? The SE seems to sport a traditional metallic color while the SEL/Titanium features an almost pearl-like color. What do people think of this? How does the pearl color look up close and in person? I was a little concerned about the light gold metallic color trim on the console of my SEL. The car I saw in person last February was a Titanium with the silver trim. I had only seen it in pictures and was pleasantly surprised when I finally saw it in person. It's a very subtle gold color. It adds the right amount of contrast and blends in nicely. Now I think the silver metallic on the Titanium is a little bland.
RangerM
Yes in blue you don't notice this gap at all. Is that an RS? This is what I was referring to. At first glance, it just seems higher than it should be. (IMO)

aneekr
While I haven't purchased any of the cars pictured below, the Ford dealerships I've done business with held 2012 Focus "Premiere Night" events last week with free food, test drives, and ample opportunities for taking photos. :happy feet: Here we go... papilgee4evaeva
Oof! I liked what they had going with the new steelie design on the Fusion. It'd be nice if they could have downsized it a bit and applied it to the Focus. Edited May 20, 2011 by papilgee4evaeva

It'd be nice if they could have downsized it a bit and applied it to the Focus. It's ugly as sin, but it's designed for maximum MPGs. These are the hubcaps on the SFE model only IIRC. aneekr
Is that hatchback or sedan? That particular one is an SE hatchback. It's ugly as sin, but it's designed for maximum MPGs. These are the hubcaps on the SFE model only IIRC. That's correct! One product specialist at a Premiere Night event said the SFE also uses different tires compared to the regular SE model. The SFE tires weigh a couple pounds less and have a "low hysteresis" composition to reduce rolling resistance.
jasonj80
I really like those Blacked out Projector Headlights, They should be included on the Sport & Titanium Pkg or at least optional. Also there are a few 2012 Focus Rentals I've seen here in Vegas. I tried to get one but they were out. Yet I wonder if something closer to this would maintain the higher MPGs while looking better... (admittedly not steelies, but still designed for maximum MPGs)

transitman
Here's my baby. Kona Blue SEL. Sorry for the lack of quality. I couldn't find the other camera. She's a beauty, the Kona Blue is a great color, just too dark for salty MN winters. How is yours decked out? Is that Gator Orange covering the license plate?
