SoonerLS
BTW, unless they've changed the color formulation, you people saying that Race Red looks "orange-ish" need to go see your eye doctor.
fordmantpw
Go ahead and order it. I'll drive it for you 'til you're ready for it. I'll do that tomorrow!

Dude, in certain light conditions, it does look orangish. I thought OK was supposed to be a sunny state??
SoonerLS
Dude, in certain light conditions, it does look orangish. I thought OK was supposed to be a sunny state?? It is, but my truck never looks orange-ish. If it did, I wouldn't have bought it.

Seriously though, I've seen it have an orange tint in certain sunny conditions. Maybe it was the wax they used? My Bronze Fire will have an orange tint at times too. twintornados
Does it being the "truck of the year" really affect your decision to purchase a Ranger? Sure it'd be nice for it to win, but it's the same truck whether it wins or not... Won't effect my decision . Same here....
akirby
It's obviously very subtle but in the right light it has an orange tint. Not the only ones who think that. https://www.f150forum.com/f38/race-red-owners-170643/
351cid
Dude, in certain light conditions, it does look orangish. I thought OK was supposed to be a sunny state?? My daughter's Focus is RR. She refers to it as her red/orange car.
silvrsvt
It's obviously very subtle but in the right light it has an orange tint. Jeeze just looking at a Google Image search of Race Red show that it definitely has a orange tint to it. Then again Orange-Red color blindness is prevalent in males, so I can understand why they might not be able to see it.
Pioneer
The orange tint is what I like about it. But, my favorite Ford color has always been Competition Orange so I may be a little biased.

And I don't need an image search, I can just look in my driveway.

fordmantpw
I prefer tigers, whether they're black and gold or purple (I do some work for LSU so I have to root for them). We have a few friendly rivalries, with my tigers usually on the losing end.

fuzzymoomoo
And Verlander got a ring this year. should have been at least his second ? You will never convince me that the Cards were a better team in '06 (damn infielders forgetting how to play their positions ?) and they definitely could have beaten the Giants in 2012 Edited November 30, 2017 by fuzzymoomoo

The pitchers gave up plenty of runs with their lack of fielding. There is no way the Cards should have won in 06 (or 11 either really). After the Cards, Im a bit of a Detroit fan myself. rmc523
Hey, at least you all aren't Marlins fans and have had something to root for the last decade+. We're facing yet another firesale/rebuild....starting with the MVP being shipped out.

Honestly, I hope we don't trade for him unless Miami eats a bunch of his contract...that's too much money to dedicate to one player.
akirby
I suffered through the 1990s Braves only winning one world series then stopped watching baseball altogether. It's just too slow and boring for me.

Stanton's deal won't look so bad next year after Harper and Machado sign even bigger deals.
tbone
I dont see how baseball can afford these contracts. It isnt a growing sport with increasing revenue streams.
