I'm locked in, but it sounds like things have changed for them recently. I called my local dealer and they weren't taking x-plan and wanted $1000 over invoice if I ordered through them. I found a larger dealership in Dallas that did accept the x-plan. When I called them after placing my order and spoke with the Sales Manager, he said they were NOT accepting x-plan for Super Duty trucks. After speaking with the GM, he assured me I would get x-plan, so it sounds like they aren't taking it any longer.
Coynerboyner
My deal gave me xplan pricing and they advise there only doing it on customer orders not in stock inventory
Robin Hood
It would seem to me, that if a retail order doesn't affect allocation, then it would be foolish for a dealer not to offer the X-plan if someone inquired.

Oregon_Tremor
My dealer agreed to Xplan back in April. When I last spoke to salesman, they had over 80 trucks on order at that time.
CanadianTremor
X Plan shouldn't be an issue. I know it even works for the new Bronco in Canada where in the US it seems to be an issue.

Blackdiamond925
If X-plan isn't coming out of their allocation, it's found money. Had a similar experience with BMW European Delivery. Any dealer was happy to take my deal at slightly over invoice pricing. I'm not sure why it's so uneven with Ford dealers.

I believe the sale date is the day you pick it up, not order it. I may be mistaken though. I've not attempted to use it yet. Overthebars
I had to call multiple dealerships before I could find one willing to take xplan most lied and said ford was the one who stopped it and not that they as a dealership just weren't doing it anymore
DugeBunker
I noticed that after I used the link on the EAA website that redirected me to Ford's Build and Price or Search Inventory tools that the website now adjusts the prices to X-plan automatically.
