I have been waiting 10 weeks for my 2022 F150 Lariat 502a order to even be scheduled for production.

Some super duty buyers have been waiting 10 months.

I purchased and Escape SEL Hybrid in January.  First was told 12-14 weeks. Now was told yesterday by the dealership could be up to 8 months before we see it.  I have no idea when it could be scheduled...

It's all pretty much model dependent at this point. I ordered a 2022 Ranger Tremor on December 27, 2021 and it was built March 8, 2022. Waiting on it to be shipped to the dealership now so probably another month. I know you don't want a current Ranger, but that's been my experience at the present time.

Ya, it seems to be quite a mess with the chip shortage and supply chain issues generally. Lincoln Aviators are taking 4-6 months too -- especially long for hybrid ones. And it's probably getting worse before it gets better with the war in Ukraine 😕

Are US orders generally produced faster then export orders? Or is it random?

I do find it interesting now that Ford has a disclaimer on their website:

It looks like it's definitely not going to get any better soon....

Did I post this? :)

2022 Escape SEL FHEV AWD ordered Jan 3, dealer estimated around 3-4 months with the understanding that nobody knows in the current market.  Still awaiting scheduling/VIN.  Between Maverick and Escape hybrids that use the same ICE, battery pack, etc, (but different transmissions,) they can't build nearly enough.  Hopefully you get yours sooner than 8 months!

Wow!  Same deal....  Hopefully we get this vehicle sooner than that.  Was hoping for sure by May....but who knows....

I'm starting to wonder if hybrid supply chain issues are actually worsening. I haven't seen a new Escape hybrid in months. Lots of 1.5 Escapes are still out there, but zero hybrids. Either Ford has a ton of hybrid orders, or Ford just can't build many adding to an even longer wait. Or both....most Escape orders are for the hybrid only and the 2.0 who need to tow.

The dealer I ordered from just got and quickly sold an SEL Hybrid, as well as two SE Hybrids, and had a third SE Hybrid built last week, so they are out there.  All dealer stock with order dates back to October.

Do you guys think that Ford will be able to fill all 2022 Bronco orders this year since they closed orders a couple weeks ago? Wondering if I should stop holding out hope...

I will warn it might get built and released for shipping and then just sit and sit waiting to ship. I'm going on 3 weeks and hasn't even left a lot at the factory. Must be short on rail cars.

Ordered a mach-e GTPE last November and it shipped out yesterday. Supply chains, chip shortages, and battery supplies are catching the world with their pants down.

I requested a 2 month lease extension on my current vehicle because even though my new Ranger was built and released a month ago it still has not shipped. 2 months puts me at June 13th. We should take bets on whether or not I have to request another extension in June.

2005Explorer:  I saw a hundred empty rail cars headed East in Wyoming last week.  So maybe there is hope?

I have been waiting 4 1/2 months on my F450 Platinum with no bed liner or adaptive steering.  I don't even have a build date or VIN yet.  Nothing from Ford but the acknowledgement.  Hopefully it gets built at some point

Similar situation here: ordered T350HD 12/23/21 - got the confirmation from Ford the same day. Then made a change to the order 1/29/22. Received the 'delay' email from Ford on 3/18....and crickets since. At this point, I'm pretty much expecting to get balanced out...but fingers crossed. Good luck!

I'm trying to figure out the best way to ask my dealer for more info? Is it 'acceptable' to ask for a screenshot of the Vehicle Visibility Report? (if I got the nomenclature right) Trying to understand the most specific, lowest friction thing to ask for, in hopes they might actually do it :)
