That goes against the entire brand ethos they've built up over the past 8-10 years.

Agree, but it is not that they are following that path 100%. EV would make a lot of sense for the brand ethos but Lincolns has none (supposed to have 3-4).

after all, all that matters is revenue and I think a Escalade V competitor would allow them to charge $120k+

Raptor R V8 would probably be "too rough" and muscl-y for the Navigator but a Grand Touring 3.5 EcoBoost might be a good move, more power would be welcome for those who want it.  I am sure someone here will say "what 450 isn't enough?" but that would be the point it would be a range topping model.

Lincoln wants to go with this whole thing of effortless power and quiet flight.  They would need something more refined.  Of course, they could try to refine the V8 to be smoother but not sure how much money Ford wants to put into V8s these days, especially modifying a low production one.

You could be right but then again the competition has an option and I think a V8 would be more appealing than a GT V6, specially after the Aviatoe GT fiasco

Hey I would love it if Lincoln got another V8 but I just don't see it happening ever again.  Ford has been pushing pretty hard to get rid of V8s except in trucks and Mustang.  Hell they even push the 3.5 EcoBoost way more in the F150 than the 5.0 these days.

I beg to differ.  Our 22 is great and I’ve heard the 24s are even better.

In isolation, the vehicle is very smooth and quiet.  However, upon comparing against its competitor set, bof, almost all cross shoppers and journalists day the same thing: its crude against the air suspension and the transmission is too rough.  A Canadian journalist even said the solid axle lx600 was more comfortable in terms of ride. The interior and seat comfort ate still tops, but refinement needs improvement, it's showing it's age in the dept.  As much as I love my nav, I can admit that it doesn't rele feel as refined against my dads escalade most of the time.

You said Nautilus - did you mean Navigator?

Is it me or does the center screen looks integrated into the dash versus sticking out like on like the Nautilus? Awesome if that’s the case!

Hard to tell.  But, with it being a larger vehicle, there'd theoretically be more real estate for it to be better/more fully integrated.  I'd imagine it'd be closer to Expedition's layout than fully integrated.

If reflection of driver’s hand is off the lower portion of center screen, the screen may reach lower and close to console elevation, suggesting larger size.  Unless it’s mounted in portrait orientation.  It’s really hard to say, but seems obvious Ford didn’t want to reveal much detail.

From the third image above, it looks like a large vertical screen.
