T-dubz
https://www.motor1.com/features/727805/best-selling-trucks-2024/ 1. F150 - 352,406 7. Maverick - 77,113 Maverick is the best selling non full-size truck this year. That might change next year when the Tacoma production is at full steam. Interestingly, the frontier is #9 and has a 17% increase in sales over last year. As one of the older designs (even though it’s still fairly new) in the midsize category, this is surprising. I think a new interior would really help its sales as well, but the exterior is a good design. Its lower price probably helps as well. It’s pretty close to the Colorado in sales now. Ranger did not make the top 10. Probably due to low production. At full production, I think it would overtake the gladiator at #10. It might have trouble with the frontier and Colorado. akirby
Frontier sales are almost all bargain shoppers looking for the lowest price.
Andrew L
Gladiator at 10 is kind of surprising, I haven't seen many on the road and they are expensive for what they are.

I like to say Nissan is the kinda company where the loans last longer than the cars 😆. 1

Their pricing isn't so much lower than comparably trimmed mainstream Canyorados, Tacomas and Rangers, which many here and generally feel have risen too far. And they appeal to folks who don't want a turbo. There is good aftermarket support for them, Also, they and Tacoma offer a crew cab w/6ft box, and the Frontier is the only midsize truck currently offering a King Cab with opening rear doors (SMH Taco). Tacoma is now built in Mexico, an important factor for many in this market segment. Edited July 26 by Chrisgb

I see much bigger incentives and dealer discounts on Frontiers. $6K on one I looked at compared to $2K on Ranger from the same dealer family. They also like to do more heavily subsidized leases. Joe771476
F-series is F-series. Sales figures should not stop at F450 just to make it easier for competitors seem to be competitive! It should be from F150 to F750.
DeluxeStang
It really is insane that no-one has tried to compete with the maverick. It's hands down one of the best values on the new car market, and it's selling left and right. Yet Dodge would rather sell crappy crossovers based on a lackluster Alfa Romeo. Honda should pivot the next gen Ridgeline to be more of a maverick rival, smaller, more fuel efficient, etc, but they won't. They'll continue to sell a truck that's middle of the road and good at nothing. The decisions of these product planners just confuses me. I wonder if they're genuinely car people or not at times. ausrutherford
I feel Ford should look at a smaller truck now based on the Courier/Puma's platform.
