Yea, I'm cautiously optimistic that Ford will head in that direction. It's contingent on getting those UEV products released on time, with high quality, in high volume. Assuming Ford's big shots actually pull it off, it would be very gratifying to see Ford surpass Tesla as the brand that's synonymous with EV for the everyman in the U.S. market.

I just realized how Ford could take a dig at this. Showing a raptor going off a jump or something, and saying "We don't need thrusters to fly". 

Agreed. It's insane. But it doesn't really have any real applications, not even for performance really. From my understanding, fan cars are banned at most racetracks, and obviously are illegal for the road.    It's cool looking, it makes headlines, but that's about it. I feel like Fords gonna actually surpass Tesla when it comes to really meaningful EV breakthroughs like affordable EVs with UEV. Like Ford is winning the race where it counts.

Just watch, there's gonna be a moment where you let out an audible "No f*cking way".    Guarentee the real car won't have that. But it's an insane feature for the reveal.

To be fair, the blue it's what makes that pop. I've seen 350s with no stripes, just white, and they're kinda generic. 

so my F350 King is FINALLY at the dealer.  Seems the trains only roll on very other Monday or the 3rd Wednesday of the month?  Shipped Mid September but it took 3 plus weeks to get to mid Massachusetts. Dealer has tracked it but seen it move very little till early today and then 3 hours from Mass it showed up in Connecticut.  Dealer is wondering if the diesel prices are slowing trucking guys.  Anyway can't wait,  pics to come.
