I'm guessing between the strike and Ford slowing down launches to improve quality, they are just hitting the dealerships in the past 45-60 days and are still building them out for dealerships
The exterior may be a little safe, but I think it’s handsome. The interior is what seems the most dated to me. I’ve seen very few on the road or at dealers - is it an availability issue?
It does look a bit dated, but I also think ford missed the mark on the design. All the other manufacturers chose to get a bit more aggressive in their design, while the ranger seems to be the “old man’s midsize”. Ford already plays it safe with the f150 and maverick, try something different with the ranger.
im guessing sales are low though because of low inventory. I’ve only seen work truck rangers at my dealer and haven’t seen any on the road.
I wonder how the CDK issue hurt Ford sales? I heard the industry as a whole was effected by 5%...but that could hurt some dealer networks more than others.
Not quite ready for a Lightning yet but it's a start. I bought this to use mainly to get to and from my tree stands during archery season without making as much noise or stink. Greenworks 60V mini-bike. I also have multiple other Greenworks tools that use the same 60V batteries as this so it made perfect sense. 25 mph top speed and 20 mile range.
I always remember something Jack Telnack said about car styling. A new design should, at first, make you feel uncomfortable. That's when the designer knows he went far enough.
P0182 code . fuel temperature sensor after changing fuep pressure sensor that threw code P0193. Got the _P0193 code some time back. The usual fix is just replace the sensor that is located under the upper manifold ( a real PIA due to the location of the rear bolts. After changing sensor with Ford Motorcraft part P0193 code went away. Now I get a P0182 fuel temperature circuit low. Doing some research it appears that the one sensor does both things. A p0182 appears the be caused by a bad sensor, faulty wiring or the PCM. I know Ford has issues with bad insulation on this generation of Explorers. Had to change out the connector wires on the throttle body and the MAF already.
Has anyne in our group had a similiar issue?? Do not want to do the upermanifold removal again if there is another fix. I see that sellers (Ebay) carry the electrical connector replacement for the fuel rail sensor so it might point to the source of my problem,
