Yes, that just happened last week. Mexico Govt is a bit alarmed shall we say that even the Big 3 are selling more Chinese cars than locally assembled cars in Mexico. The long term hollowing out of car assembly industry is not in strategic interest of Mexico (or the US). They are trying to basically make sure the manufacturing base continues to be tethered to the US market.
About 5-maybe 10 years ago- I was seeing a ton of Hinos on I-91 here in CT. I'm quite sure there was a Hino dealer in Springfield or W. Springfield MA. However, I haven't seen many in the last 2 years or so.
The Glass House should be deemed a national landmark. It looks rather mundane by modern standards, but it was a building that was very ahead of its time and has played a huge role in American history.
For the price of new Mustangs, should be voice activated so I can make the door open with "Open Sesame!". But a dollar saved per unit is a big deal, don't know what a the door opener unit costs, but imagine having a dealer install will cost way more.
As for the "clip on" openers, had one fail once. In the fall, temperature had fallen and the opener kept making/breaking contact. Caused my door to raise and lower several times at 6 AM. Thankfully I was home at the time.
A fine illustration that the Ford Finance function remains alive and well, and very much willing to make utterly stupid decisions like this. The hell with them.
I've been going back on some old posts, didn't someone post a side by side comparison of sizes/dimensions some time ago on Everest Territory Escape Equator BS Etc?
Then I saw this on FA , FF to 50:10 Mark where they are loving the Territory...
The seats are usually upgraded and more comfortable in addition to the leather material. You’d have to sit in both to see if it’s $1700 worth of difference.
FWIW the ActiveX seats in my F150 have held up great and look and feel very nice. My buddy with the Lariat didn’t even notice the difference until I mentioned it.
I don’t want a crappy remote strapped to the visor. Not to mention ours have tiny buttons. I’m fine with it being optional as long as it can be easily installed.
