The difference is that in America, you now see the consequences of those higher prices in mounting unsold inventory. So there’s an opportunity for the market to self correct.   In Europe, the directive now forces buyers  to purchase those higher priced BEVs as other lower priced non-compliant alternatives are being cut back. Those higher prices being paid for BEVs will only correct if the Chinese brands are let loose.    

Exactly, my 2022 Bronco Black Diamond had a recall to update the tire pressure sticker in the door jamb. They sent it to me by mail with instructions to just overlay on the existing sticker.

Honestly, I don't see the difference when manufacturers increased Their prices during the Pandemic and walked away from the affordable car market. 

That’s the thing with government EV mandates, they give manufacturers the green light  to charge higher prices so they recover costs more quickly while the buyer is given years to live with the consequences if their math wasn’t right at the time of purchase.

No longer headlined as the worst gives Ford  some cover while it tries to make improvements.

Is new Renault Megane E-Tech comparable to Explorer or Capri?  Seems smaller in length, width, height and weight.  Some dimensions appear closer to cheaper Puma, though probably roomier due to dedicated EV architecture and also has larger battery than Puma.  I like its size which splits the difference between Ford options.

I think it has more to do with the tariffs the US has on imported trucks. After all prices and margins don't fall without competition.
